I love the weekends but it is really hard to be good! I am so disciplined at work. I know how much water I usually drink by a certain time and I am just too busy to eat! (teacher) So Here's to Monday! (never thought I would say that!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: I usually drink about 40oz of water but it seems like you other"losers" drink more....that motivates me to drink at least one more bottle tomorrow! We went out for a walk and did lots of housework. Weather should be nice tomorrow. Bought a new coach for DISNEY so we just had to break it in!!!!! Have agreat week. Chat soon!! thanks and LOSE, LOSE, LOSE! :cheer2:

Let's hear it for Sarahsmom!!! We're here, we're here to cheer to cheer...the 150's are oh so near!!!! :)

That's GREAT NEWS!!!! We love seeing new 10 digit counts!!! The only thing better than the 150's is the 160's...you're soooooooo CLOSE!!!! Enjoy this day and pat yourself on the back for treating yourself like a fit and healthy superstar!!!!

How did everyone manage through this potentially rough weekend? Let's kick it up a notch and give us some cushion before the next potentially rough one, Valentine's! :) I'm asking for FLOWERS!!! :)

Onwards & Downwards!!!
Tara

Great job Jen!!!!    Keep up the great work and hopefully I'll be celebrating the 160's by next week. ;)

Way to go Sarahsmom! :jumping1: :jumping1:

We are happy dancing for you! Keep up the great work!! :cool1:

CONGRATULATIONS SARAHSMOM!!!!

Awesome job! Now you've got to change your ticker to show your new weight!!!

Way to go Jen!!! :cool1: What great news! :teeth:

Thanks everyone for your support! I've decided that two things probably have happened: 1. I did eat salty food the night before weigh-in. 2. My clothes are looser than before too! So, I guess the weight gain might be a combination of things for me.

Yesterday, I went way off program, but I did get a 60 minute run/walk in. Today, we may walk if the rain holds off for awhile. If not, then I might just take today as a rest day.

Have a great day! You CAN do it! :cheer2:

Congratulations to Sarahsmom! You're doing a great job!!!

I didn't lose anything at my weigh in yesterday but I have lost 7 inches in a little over a month so I'm proud of that. I am wearing a button down top that wouldn't button comfortably at all a few weeks ago so I'm happy. Hopefully at my next weigh in I'll see a drop on the scale.

Have a great Monday everyone!

7 inches!!! And clothes fitting looser!!! That's what we want!!! The scale can not be our only measure for success...think of all those inches gone and how much less space your heart has to work to get your body nourished! We'll all have weeks of gains/maintains but inside our body is doing a major overhaul...just by doing the little exercise I have this week (3 hours of pilates) I can tell how out of shape my muscles are!! My tummy is screaming at me....I have a bad back and now I know why...my poor back has been doing all the work!!! I've got to let these ab's take some of the tasks. So stay focused with the great efforts you've put forth...and I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY on the salty foods the night before a weigh in...I had chili one night and bam the scales went up 2 pounds! But within 2 days they were down 3.5 pounds...so go figure. I just want my heart to be happy...my brain will have to get over the number on the scales! :)

GREAT JOB GUYS!!! Let's make this week a strong one!!!

Tara

Hi to all

Having a bad day :guilty: Looking for some good vibes!! :goodvibes

I had a 2 1/2 hour break subbing and I was sooooooooooo bored that I almost fell asleep. Well of course I started eating whatever I had in my school bag. Bad me!! Bad me!! Have eaten way too much.

And on top of it I didn't get out of bed this morning to exercise. It was dark and gloomy and misting so I just rolled over and laid there........UGH!!

So now off to the doctor for therapy..........

Tomorrow I have to get MOVING!! :cheer2:

Ok I feel better now........Thanks!!

Have a magical Disney Day!!

Linda

Chrismiss...it's sooo tough getting motivated some days, isn't it? I really don't know what gets me motivated to exercise...usually it only happens when I can't think of a good excuse not to...it needs to be the other way around...:)

Don't fret about the munchies...it was in the middle of the day...best time for munchies because your body has enough time to use all the energy from them...staying strong tonight and avoiding snacks after dinner will help you make up any difference.

Wake up in the morning and say to yourself...this is going to be a 150 day!! Just go through your day as if you're in the 150's already! I expect I'll have more energy...love the way my clothes fit...and have an extra bounce in my step not having to drag those 100 pounds I had 2 years ago! :) Keep strong and make sure you keep good munchies with you if you ever have a munchie attack again...I don't like melba toast...so I'd keep that around! :)

Tara

Chismiss- Hang in there and don't let one bad afternoon get you down, think of what you did accomplish today and start fresh tomorrow.

Zeraspride - WOW 7 inches is fantastic, it must feel really great to fit into a shirt that was not comfortable such a short time ago.

I am holding my own, I have been drinking my 68-70oz of water each day and getting some type of exercise each day. We did make it to the zoo yesterday and it was great to get out and enjoy the weather. It was overcast and about 46 degrees, which is warm considering we have had a colder than normal winter.

The good news is that my knee is better and I was able to give it a light workout today on the weight machine.

Linda, tomorrow is another day!!!! :grouphug: Maybe next time pack better munchies in your school bag? I know the biggest temptation for me is the teachers' room....everyone brings in food galore! today was donut day and I didn't eat one! I usually fool myself and break it into half!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: I wish I could find more time to exercise. Keep thinking positive!

Way to go Sarahsmom!!! :cheer2:

You guys are the best!!! Thank you so much for the party! you have no idea how much I needed that!!! :cool1: It's great we are on this journey together!! :grouphug:

Morning to all

Today is a better day!! :cool1: :cool1:

Got this big old body out of bed and did a walking tape . Now I only did a 1 mile express but I am going to look at it that it is better than nothing :rotfl:

Feeling pretty good this morning. Motivated to get back on track.

Saw my osteopath last night and he wants me to focus on aerobic (light impact - have those bad knees) instead of anaerobic exercise. Actually suggested swimming which I haven't done in decades. Have to get past the mental image of a beached whale :rotfl2:

He thinks that an aerobic exercise will help more than the physical therapy I am getting for my knees and back and shoulders. Need to build up my core - you know those flabby stomach muscles.

Any suggestions? I am going to try and check out the local community center also.

Won't get on the scale right now - think I would get depressed - going to focus on getting a good exercise program going.

Rainy and slick here in Chicago..........UGH I hate winter!!

Thanks for the boost yesterday!! :grouphug: Hang in there and keep focusing on the goal :cheer2: You guys are the BEST :cool1:

Have a magical Disney Day!!

Linda

Linda, that 1 mile express counts big time! :cool1: Glad you are having a better day. Have you ever done water aerobics? It is great, no stress hard workout. Water walking is also a good lower body workout and some classes add arm exercise.

Welcome HINative :wave2: Jump on in! Happy to have you in the 150 Club!

I actually got on the TM yesterday and walked the whole 30 minutes at a higher speed. No whinning! :rotfl: I received some added exercise incentive yesterday...DH and I always celebrate our first date anniversary (this is the 26th) and this year we decided to rent a cabin in Gatlinburg for a long weekend. That means HOT TUB and the ever so scary bathing suit! I have until the end of March to get rid of some of the jiggles!

Hope everyone has a good day! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Melissa -

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Going to Disney World in about 35 days with my DD (20 and 17) - leaving DH at home.....my jiggles will still be there:(:(.....but working towards a better summer look:):)

Welcome Sarahsmom & HiNative - Always looking for new team members!!

Have a magical Disney Day!!

HINative!!! You're officially one of the crew!!!! So glad you joined us!! Everyone here will cheer you down to the 150's...and CELEBRATE each 10'er you enter (170's, 160's)...if you're feeling challenged or need to brag...please come on in and share!!!

Any shots you want to share of that beautiful paradise you call home...feel free!! My pilates DVD was filmed there and I enjoy looking at the scenery more than the instructors! :)

Welcome!!!!!
