Michelle, :grouphug: you are gonna be just fine! You'll be counting backwards from 100 and before you know it you'll be in recovery wanting some ice cream, uh, no make that low-fat frozen yogurt!! LOL!

Seriously, here's to a speedy recovery!! :goodvibes We'll be thinking about you. And a big :thumbsup2 for the 2 pounds down!

I need to be in the 150 club. I only have 147.2 to go!!

Any support or suggestions anyone can lend would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for the :grouphug: I'm feeling okay now. It was soooo quick! I was laying on the bed and next thing I know I'm waking up in the recovery room, very confused, but otherwise okay. So far, because of the liquid diet, I'm at 185! I have been trying to get nutritional shakes down so I don't miss too many calories, I still need to breastfeed the baby.

I'm watching the Disney Parade right now, I absolutely can't wait to go back this summer (hopefully close to the 150's when I go!) Hope everyone is having a great Christams.

Welcome to IWantMyDVC and Truebelievers!:wave2: Good luck on your weight loss.

Welcome treubelieer and IwantmyDVC. This is a great place to work out your frustrations about weightloss. I too have about 40 to 50 pounds to got until the 150's (depending on what scale I use)

Michellle I'm glad that eeverything went well with your tonsils. You do need to keep up your strength if you are breastfeeding.

Well Christmas is almost over here at my house. I spent the a good part of the weekend cooking and cleaning and then at least 5 people never called to say they were not coming. I am stuck with so much food. I am having people over tomorrow for a pot luck but she is also bringing her leftovers. I better get some things into the freezer or I will lose a lot of food. I also would never have ordered 2 pies. I guess that is going into the freezer as well. I did have a very small piece of the apple and cherry but that is it. I am exhausted. My kids and husband did help but the majority of it did fall on me to do it. Add to that driving an hour away yesterday to spend time with my family and not being able to sleep last night and still getting up at 4 this morning like a regular day. We also had my son's girlfriend staying with us so it has been a crazy weekend. We were able to open all the presents (except for our stockings and still get everybody showered and dressed and at 7:30 mass this morning (I had to be there I was reading) i feel like I have run a marathon. I think I am going to take a nice hot bath and curl up with a good book. 4 days off and I have to make the best of them.

Hope everyone had a healthy and happy Christmas

Hey losers!! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Welcome IWantMyDVC and Truebelievers! Pull up a chair and a glass of water! We're glad you are here!

Michelle, glad to hear you are recovering!

Dona, it sure sounds like you earned some down time!!

OK, drumroll I made my Christmas goal of 70 pounds lost!! I weighed in at 150 yesterday!!!! Now only 10 or maybe 20 to go!!

Enjoy this week and get ready for the New You, I mean, New Year!!!

I weigh in at WW tomorrow - after Christmas, I am so nervous about what the scale is going to read . . .

Hi everyone! can I join?

I have been struggling to get under 200 pounds for years. I would love to be 140, but I'll take 150 if I can ever get there.

I do WW's. I did the flex for many years, but tried the core and like it. Today is my meeting day, so I am going to face the music of the Holidays in a few hours.

You are all so inspirational! My short term goal is to get my rearend to the gym more often.

To date, from my highest weight ever at 243 pounds, I had lost 41 pounds, but gained 29 pounds back! ACK.

Since rejoining WW's I have lost 7 pounds.

Welcome Disney1fan2002!

Dona, sounds like you had a very busy Christmas. Our Christmas is usually just my little family at home by ourselves. Being in the Military, we don't have to drive all over town to visit family because there is usually none near. We currently live near DH's family, which is nice for the kids. We saw them on the 24th.

IWantMyDVC, good luck on your weigh in, I hope all goes well for you.

Melissa, you are are the greatest inspiration, congrats on the 70 lbs!!!!

And now for my news, another two pounds gone this morning, hopefully I will be in the 170's by the time DH leaves for Korea. Once he is gone, it is easy to lose weight (he likes diet sabatoge (sp?) ). If I get to the 170's, I'll be the same weight I was when I got out of the Army 6 years ago. Now that's a good feeling:goodvibes . Happy New Year!

I went to my weigh in today - up THREE lbs. I was blown away. I truly did not expect it. I am not sure what I did wrong. Guess I re-read the first book tonight and make sure I am following the plan to the "T" :confused3

Everybody getting ready for the New Year? Got those goals ready for 2007? This is the year to make it happen and you CAN do it!!!

Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we must change our habits!! ;)

Hang in there and have a great weekend!! :cheer2:

Off to visit the Mouse. Won't be back until Jan 10.

Will see everyone next year.

Happy New year.

I hope you all have big plans for the New Year. We will be sitting at home watching it all on TV. Istepped on the scale this morning and guess what, I'm 178!! I was just floored. I have lost a little over ten pounds this week. I guess that's what happens when you can't eat. I don't think it will last because I'm absolutely starved! As soon as I can eat, I'm going to stuff myself:blush:

IWantMyDVC, sorry about the weigh in:grouphug: I hope you do better next time.

Hey gang! I have had an unbelievable Christmas woosh! 5 pounds! That's 145!:scared1: Now that's a number I haven't seen in ages! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Michelle, great weight loss...shame we have to eat anything isn't it! Just be careful when you stuff yourself and maybe the numbers won't be too bad! ;)

Welcome Disney1fan2002! :thumbsup2

Are you working on those New Year's Resolutions and Goals?? I think we ought to post them next week so everyone can be cheering each other on!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Be careful while you are celebrating tonight but have a great time!! :woohoo:

Welcome to the new members.

Congrats to the weight loss. Mayabe I should have my tonsils out.:lmao:

I am going to a party tonight. I will be bringing some veggies and dip and I know that someone is bringing fruit (for the chocolate fountain).. Personally I would prefer to stay home because I had a rotten night sleep. I tried to nap this afternoon but as soon as I got comfortable the phone would ring or something would wake me up. Do you think it is rude to take my knitting? I . think that is the only way I am going to make it to midnight. These are out friends but the wife is not happy unless the house is overcrowded. Once you get a seat if you move you lose it for the rest of the night. The crazy part of this whole thing is the husband hates the large crowd. If he could go somewhere else without bugging his wife he would do it.

Dona, why is it that the phone always wants to ring when someone is napping? It always happens to me too. Hope you live through your party and don't fall asleep too early.

I have finally been able to get down some food  I hope I feel up to normal by next week, I would like to resume normal living. Happy New Years everyone! Talk to you in 2007. party:

Ok - gulp - I'm jumping back in! I am a former WISH member returning to the fold. I used to post some nice milestone clippies that I had to remove from my signature quite a while back. It has been a rough year or so including losing my dad a year ago, and some other stuff going on, and I had totally lost my weight-loss mentality. I slipped off into the woodwork, and avoided this forum. I need to be back!

I am a WW Lifetime member meaning I have achieved my weightloss goals in the past - it is the maintenance that evades me now, when I stop hitting the scale, my consciousness about the gains slips away. I'm not sure I'll jump back into WW meetings due to time constaints, but just having a group to be accountable to, will hopefully keep this going in my mind. It is all mentality for me. I've done it before (actually twice) and can do it again. The 150's club needs to be my home. I haven't weighed in for a while now, but in the next couple of days I'll hold my breath and step on and set my goal.

So, if you all will have me, I'm returning to the fold!

Jen

Welcome Jen You are always welcome here. Just post and keep us informed about how things are going with you not only with your diet but your life.

Michelle I'm glad that you were finally able to eat. It must seem strange after 1 week of no solid foods. Don't eat too much, your body is not used to it and you may get sick.

I did manage to get through the party and yes I did bring my knitting. It did keep me awake. We didn't get home until about 1:45. A group of us usuallly spend midnight in their hottub but we didn't do it this year, we went in about 12:30 when some of the guests were leaving. A number of guest said goodbye to the hostess while she was in the hottub. She didn't invite too many new people or else a number of peole did not come because it was not as crowded as last year. There was only one new family that I did not recognize, so it wasn't too bad.

Hope everyone has a happy and healthy New Year

Hello JenEeyore, I can totally relate to the maintanace thing, it's really hard to keep up the good for you eating all the time, where's the fun in that!

Dona, I have been trying not to eat too much because it makes my throat tired and achy, plus I don't want to put too many pounds back on. You brought your knitting to the party :rotfl2:

Well, DH leaves for Korea in two weeks. I hate that he has to leave again and the closer it gets the more I want to cry about it. But we have our first DVC trip to look forward to when he comes home for leave in August. I'll just look forward to that.
