Well, I'll be jiggered! Today I had a genuine "feel good" aura pulsing around me!
I ate less calories, made better food choices, and drank a TON of water. I got to go see The Wild (I don't recommend it-it was a little intense for me, but then again, I scream at the TV when I watch reality shows. In my eyes, it needed more humor.).
Also, the school year is coming to a close-17 days left not counting Memorial Day or Cedar Point. I'm so psyched!
I'm also seriously considering taking dance lessons/classes. All my life I've wanted to learn how to salsa dance and sashay in those cute little barely there dresses. I also think I may do jazz or beginner's ballet (my friend is thinking of taking ballet too). It will keep me in good form and get my muscles ready to cheer cheer cheer next year!
If I could get any opinions or tips for dance I'd appreciate it!
I also thought of a way to fight back against the ice cream shop-I actually learned it from one of the girls who has been there 5 summers. It's called "bring your own dinner". I'm thinking frozen Lean Cuisines...
and fresh fruit. Anything I make is ten times better than chicken sandwiches (I could have a hamburger and a Fruit N Yogurt Parfait sans granola from McDonalds for the amount of calories in a shredded chicken sandwich!) or hot dogs (Apple Dippers and caramel from McDonalds). Now I actually have to go grocery shopping to get the stuff!
Linda-CONGRATS to your daughter!!! One of the girls I work with will be going into the WDW College Program (not sure what year). That would be SO cool if they could meet!! Good luck on getting yourself back.
