Tera!! You KNOW this is just your body's way of accepting that your a 150 girl...it's gonna do this to you just this once and then it will let go for GOOD!!! I bet this morning if you weighed you're a 150's girl! :) You're working your tail off and it will reflect that in the scale next week!!! Stay strong and keep doing what you've been doing...you're a loser!!! :)

Twinkles!! YES!!! You are moving forward and making good decisions!!! Good luck on the Presidential Tests!! Get some brain food...fish and veggies! You'll SOAR through it!!! :)

Linda!! Only 60 minutes yesterday??? Do you know how long that is??? I think that's GREAT for an "only" day! :) Let us know what your trainer puts on you...it really helps my body to switch up the routines...oh and I meant to thank you for the book suggestions...atleast I think it was you...I'm reading another Deaver book and told dh to find some of the other ones. Thanks! Good luck on the weigh in!!

My weigh in is tomorrow..think .5 will be a good loss this week..just don't "feel" skinny this week even though it's not TOM...need more fresh veggies in my menu...this journey to 170's is soooo slow!! I hope there's a WHOOSH soon! :)

Let's get losing!!
Tara

Yesterday could have been better. Had a slight slip......it almost always happens when I miss the AM snack, don't know why that is. It wasn't really terrible, but I finished the day eating cereal at 9:30pm. Mistake! pirate: Slept horribly. Needless to say the scale wasn't so kind today. But, I know that it is water and temprorary and I am still going to hold on to my clippie. ;) If I keep playing the back and forth game every time there is water retention, then I think I would give up.

Tara - Crossing my fingers and toes that you get those offers. That, and it is good exercise, right?

Teresa - Don't worry, it is only temporary and by weeks end, you will be back in the 150's. Just think within 2 weeks it will be easier to stay in the 150's! :cheer2:

Megan - The most important thing you can do for yourself is to let the bad days go and move on. You are doing so well. Keep it up! :cheer2:

Linda - :wizard: Here is some help to get that scale moving the right direction. :wizard:

We3disneygo - With that much exercise in one day, I would definitely think you could show a loss. Great work!

Everyone else who is just reading........remember it is all about attitude and sticking with it no matter what!

Have a great day and drink plenty of water! ::MickeyMo

It is so great seeing how much everyone is losing. I am very impressed with all of the exercise. I just HATE exercise, and haven't added that into my efforts yet. Maybe eventually.

Keep up the good work! I won't be seeing those '150s' for several months, but as long as the scale is going down I know I will be getting there some day.

DH is out of town this week. I thought it would make it hard for me and I would splurge, but actually it has been easier. Maybe I should send him away more often :teeth: .

I'm just checking in with guys. I haven't been able to do very much WISHing lately. I've got 16.5 pounds to go to into the 150 pound club. I'm not sure how long that will take since my weight loss has slowed down significantly. But I did take off 2.5 pounds this past week and claimed my new 105 pound clippie. So progress is always good.

Keep up the great work everyone. It's inspiring to know we are all shooting for the same goal!

Thanks Tara and Lesli - I'm not too worried about it since I know it was just water and I'm sure my weight loss will start slowing down as I get closer to my goal weight. I'm good and I think sometimes the gains are good to help re-evaluate my weight loss program and eating. I told my DH today that I was eating too many of those dinners (WW, lean cuisine) and need to start making healthy dinners for me and my family.

Tara - Unfortunately didn't get to see the 150's today since last night we went and saw STING in concert and I had 3 beers, one of which I didn't finished. I also had a pretzel (no salt), so overall I was good, but figure it'll be tomorrow before I get back down.

Here's hoping for those 2 pounds this week and a new clippie :wizard: :wizard:

Today was better, not eating wise, but, oh well.

I made presidential on situps and pushups and flexibility. The only thing that I didn't make it was on running. Weeeee! :goodvibes

Lets go Losers! :cheer2:

Linda - I'm surviving the final week of tax season out of the office on Long Island. I worked until noon monday to try and finish everything up but ended up bringing a partnership return with me. Since their books are messed up, I talked the client in to going on extension.

Long Island in exciting but tiring. I am still putting out brushfires, and not starting the evaluation I was hired to do. Since I will be here next week also, I hope to get more accomplished.

Haven't done to weel with the eating or exercise. Went to the mall last night with to fellow upstaters to walk. Then we went to Benigans for supper. The meals were healthy enough but the dessert were sinful. Oh well, today has been a much better eating day. To keep my digestion going, I worked until 11 before deciding to go to bed. had trouble getting to sleep but slept soundly once I feel asleep.

Am having problems with water consumption. It doesn't stay cold, and I dilike the taste of room temp water. Am stiving to do better. Have not had much soda either so that is a good thing.

Tara - hope you get an offer on your house so you can go on your trip. It has to be frustrating to have people look at it and not make an offer.

Twinkles6892 - congratulations on your efforts to lose. you have a good attitude and don't let the bad days get you down. Keep up the good work, you are bound to suceed.

Hi 150 Clubers!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been speedreading through a couple weeks of posts - wow! You go girls! (and guys!).

Thank goodness - the scale is FINALLY moving again. I was on a 3-week plateau... then suddenly whoosh! 3.5 pounds in 3 days.

Here's to sticking with the program gang - you all are so inspirational!

We can do this!

Iris

Morning Losers!!

Met with the trainer yesterday and she add weight resistance training to my program. Measured me and I actually lost 1 1/4 inches in my hips!!! :cool1: That was a nice surprise.

Going for the dreaded weigh in today. Heaven only knows what is going to happen............

Iris - that darn scale - glad it is moving for you:):)

Kathy - You are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!! :sunny: Just hang in there!! WDW will be here soon and you can relax!! Keep sipping the water.

TO ALL - HAPPY THURSDAY!!!!!! Keep your fingers crossed that the scale moves for me - even a little.......... :goodvibes

Have a magical Disney Day!! :earsboy:

Linda

I knew I could hang on to that clippie, everything is back to normal today. Obviously eating late at night is not a good thing, so no more. I did really good yesterday and am hoping for the same today. We have GS ceremony tonight, followed by ice cream and I am going skip the ice cream. Don't even feel like it. :flower:

westjones - I knew you could do it! Meals and keeping taboo foods away would be much easier here as well if my DH was away. :rolleyes1

Zeraspride - Congrats! on the new clippie. I just saw some of your pics and you have done an AWESOME job. Keep up the good work!

Teresa - Keeping my fingers crossed for that 2 lbs lost! :cheer2:

Megan - I am so proud of you! Great job on making the Presidential in three areas. I know they require quite a bit of effort. :goodvibes

Kathy - Just keep thinking "I'm going to Disney, I'm going to Disney." Hopefully that will help relieve the stress of the last minute tax blues. :wizard:

Iris - Great job on the 3.5 lbs! Keep up the good work. :cheer2:

Linda - Isn't it nice to see some more inches gone? Things are sunny and bright here. :sunny:

Everyone keep up the wonderful job you are doing and drink more water! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Thanks Lesli

Wow, can't believe how quickly April is going by. Maybe it has something to do with counting down to our cruise.... 21 days till we leave :cool1: :cool1:

Well I got on the scale and looks like the water has finally WHOOSHED  Scale said 159 and I do not plan to see the 160's again. Still need 1 more for my 50 pound clippie which I expect to claim on Tuesday.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day :sunny:

Congrats Tera! That is great! I am LOVING April! It is SO nice to have sunshine again!

BTW, I asked this on another thread, but I wanted to know, do most of you weigh yourselves at home, or go to something like Weight Watchers to weigh in?

I have been going to WW, and have prepaid coupons for another couple of months, but I have a LONG road ahead of me and would like to NOT pay them any more money, but I am worried that I will lose track if I don't have someone checking me. I do appreciate the WISH board, and wondered if I can make it with just the support of this board. Does that work for any of you?

Thanks!
DJ

Lesli!! GREAT news on that late night slip-up...you are back on track and ready to LOSE!!! :)

DJ...I know, I know exercise is a hard thing to add in or start....but you're sooo close to the 150's and if you just add a little bit you'll see that number sooner! It can be done without exercise but I think you'll feel stronger and more energetic if you can do a little...come on partner...we're gonna go down there together!!! You help me with the eating (which you seem to have mastered) and I'll help you with the exercise...how about a 30 minute walk while dh is gone?

Zeraspride!!! 2.5!!  :teeth: 2.5 pounds gone forever!!! :) And look at the BEAUUUUTIFUL new clippie!!! AWESOME!!! AWE INSPIRING!!! It's amazing!!!! :)

Tera!!! YES!!! I think you have officially crossed the point of no return to the 160's...that's a solid 159 and you'll get even farther before that cruise!! YAHOO!!!

Twinkles!! CONGRATS on the pushups and situps!!! If you keep those up those abs and triceps will start blowing that extra fluff AWAY!!! :) GREAT JOB!!! Love your attitude!!! :cheer2:

NYcpa!!! You and I need to make a pinkie promise to get our water in...I start out fine...I have a glass with breakfast...but then literally I could go until 3pm without drinking...I can eat my lunch without swallowing a drop! UGH! Maybe I'm part camel. But today, I'll think of you and make sure I have a filled glass at the counter at all times and I'm even going to buy some bottled water at the store to keep in the freezer...any errand I run I"ll just pop one in the car and have it finished before I return...We CAN DO THIS!!!

Iris!! 3.5 pounds!!!   That's what I call a WHooooooosh!!! :) Look at you shrink!!! :) Dontcha just love those big loss weeks!! :) You're doing great!!!

Linda.... :wizard: Goood weigh in thoughts!!! Good weigh in thoughts!!! But you can't neglect that 1.25 inches gone in your hips!!! That's HUGE!!! :)

GUYS!!! I actually saw 179.0 on the scale!! For a brief fleeting moment...you know that apprehensive way you first step on the scale...a little ****-eyed and tentatively holding one foot lighter than the other...I always do that on the first jump up...I know I'm neurotic. But then I was sooo excited to see it that I flat-footed stepped on that scale and held my head high and the next 3 weigh ins it was 180.0 That's a 2 pound loss from last weeks weigh in..and I'll TAKE IT!!! I KNOW that I'll be in the 170's for sure next week! But it was a huge shock to see 179 on the scale!! It means I am doing it and will get this weight off....I also started measuring 2 weeks ago and in that time I've lost 5 inches!!! Two from my waist, 1.5 from my hips and the rest little bits from my calves arms and thighs!! WOOHOO!!!!

Let's keep it going gals!!! :)
Tara

This is such a happy, inspiring thread. You all are doing so good! And Congrats Tara on your 60 pound clippie and losing the 2 pounds for the week! Every little bit makes a difference huh? I am the same way with my scale, LOL but today, it finally said 169.5! I am in my next set of tens! Even though 150 isn't my ultimate goal weight, I am still aiming to get there too, so I love seeing how everyone else is doing. You all are inspiring, and since finding this board, it is alot easier for me to stay on my diet, and try and exercise regularly.
And congrats we3disneygo, that is great progress!!

DJ....I just weigh at home...they're digital scales but weigh to the .5 pound and they are actually 3-4 pounds heavier weighing than my doctor's...so I figure I'm good to go if they're showing a loss! :) I never could join the weight loss clubs...huh? spend money when I could use that money to buy a new wardrobe??? So, although joining might have made the weight come off quicker, I have done okay without it and have enjoyed buying new clothing as I hit 20 pound increments..which reminds me..it's time for a new goal outfit! :) I now have 4 goal outfits to wear when I get down about 20-30 more pounds!!! And I CAN'T WAIT!!! :)

Michelle!!! What a precious family!!! Y'all should be on a cereal box or something! And 169.5!!! What a GREAT NUMBER!!!! I'm not sure what number I'll stop at...it's whatever number matches the size I need to fit into those 4 goal outfits! :) One of the pants are a size 10 and one is a size 6 but they're about the same size in the hips and legs just different cuts...funny how sizes vary.

we3disneygo!!! WOW!!! 2.8!!!   That's close enough for 3 bananas! :) That is AMAZING!!! You are really doing some right moves! :) This is going to be a huge month for losing, I can just feel it!!! :)

Well, I finished my 100 days of no french fries and no white bread!!! YEAH!! And I really had NOOO intention of eating any...but wouldn't you know it fate was against me...I had a boiled egg and a piece of wheat toast for breakfast....then for lunch I had tuna salad....I purposefully ate the tuna salad because I had promised the kids McDonald's while we shopped (there's one in the local grocery)...Well, wouldn't it be my luck that they were so slow getting the food out that the french fry maker told me he'd bring my son his french fries because they couldn't get their act together...wrong orders, long waits, etc. Well, the guy was overly nice and instead of bringing a small order of fries he brought the X-X-L size of fries to make up for their mistakes...UGH!!! So now, I have this HUGE box of fries that are hot and steamy and of course ketchup on the side and no way my son can eat all those...well, I did, I ate some and I had 2 bites of my daughters cheeseburger....so there...I did it...I managed without them for 100 days and now realize...they're not so great!!!! I am going to slimfast tonight, though...gotta see that 179 for solid next week! :) But isn't it amazing how you get tested like that...I could have passed on my kids fries but an XXL fry that's staring me in the face!!! UGH!! :)

Losing is good, losing is great...making it happen for a GREAT GOAL DATE!!! :)

Sorry, my rhyming is off....

Tara

DJ- Even though I weigh once a week at WW, I still weigh myself at home. It's kind of an obsession with me though

Tara - Great job on 100 days of giving up fries. I don't think there is ANYTHING I can give up for 100 days... anything ;) ;)

I know your going to see those 170's everytime you weigh yourself now. Kiss those 180's GOOD BYE :goodvibes

So sad:(:( Why do I keep sabotaging myself???? WW weigh in - UP .6..........I will never get passed this..........

Thanks for listening:(:(

Have a Magical Disney Day (I am NOT)

Linda

Linda!!! NO NO NO!!! We can let you have a magical day!!! Look at how far you've come!!! And for goodness sake....----.6 pounds could be related to the pair of socks you wore today!! We're gonna have to find some flowy sleeveless frocks for you to wear and kick those sandals off before you step on those scales!! With the exercise you've been doing...you're building muscle and didn't I hear you say you lost 1.25 inches in your hips???? So, CELEBRATE!! You just put on .6 pounds of muscle trading it for fat and that muscle will knock out those fat cells to feed itself!! :) You've got built in fat busters!!! And if it helps...I really try to eat bland raw foods the day before my weigh in...I learned my mistake with chili and chicken wings..those spicy foods can make that water hang on. So don't fear!!! You'll be sitting pretty next week...whoosh fairy being sent your way!!! :)

Tara

I can hear all of the whooshing even in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. :goodvibes

Tara: You are soooooo right at the 170s! Did you ever think you would be in the 170s this soon? You go girl! A banana dance for you...

Here's wishing everyone great weigh-ins and lots of inspiration as we continue onward and downward! :wizard:

Aloha,

Iris ( pirate: arrrrggghhh... just wanted to use this smilie)
