150 at BCV or 100 BCV AND 100 SSR?

Floridafam - you are obviously much more skilled at this that I am since you already have multiple resorts. I doubt I can handle the tracking!!!

As I said, I would probably stay with the BCV but my DH and I are biased - we LOVE it there and so does our DD (age 9). I think I would prefer the longer contract at one resort to enable me to take advantage of the 11 month window for a long reservation. You still have the option of staying at SSR, the only problem is that it is 50 points less. Can you waitlist for the additional points at BCV?

Truthfully, I will be surprised if we stay anywhere other than BCV or use the points for the cruise, but that is just us. I would love to add on more points but DH and I decided it wasn't worth it at SSR unless we could do at least 200 to allow for a longer stay in a one bedroom. We don't like the studios since I cook when we are there and rather have the additional room.

Besides, I am kinda hoping that they provide a better "deal" for SSR purchases in the future - Once again Good Luck

Well,

I think I'm going to call my guide and do 107 at BCV and 100 at SSR.

107 will give us a 1br for a week every other year at the time we travel. On the off years, we will use our pts for a 1br at SSR.

Then we will also use our VWL pts and VB points.

No - not an idiot - but I would love to have your 43 BCV points if you are still willing to purchase them and gift them to me. I could probably even live with different use years if that is the case!!!!!!!

In any case - enjoy the points. My overall feeling is that you can go wrong with DVC. After all, "you're going to Disney World!!!!"

I have a message in with our guide.

We are going to do 120 at BCV and 100 at SSR.

The 120 should work well for us at BCV.

We don't want to end up with too many points.

All my guide has to do is call and we will be all set.

I'm not worried about the 30 pts that we are turning down. He said they have many, many people waiting for pts for BCV.

I'll let you know what he says when he calls.
