$15 coupon not valid!!

Patsal.....Did you have the infamous card? They cancelled ALL my orders. I got 2 emails, one telling me to produce the card or else for one group, the other I just got a minute ago, cancelling my preorder on Lilo & Stitch..apparently you can't use the discount on preorders. At least it saves me an email or phone call, I wasn't going to take any of it. Looks like if you ordered enough for them to make a profit, despite the discount, you'll get your order.

Peachgirl--I got the same e-mail for my L&S pre-order. And thats the order I really wanted, lol. No word yet on my other 3 orders. One I can live without, 2 I would like to have but not sure I would get them at this time. I prob am going to reorder L&S--because I want he movie, the pins and the plush. Guess I'll wait for the other e-mails to come in (atleast I hope there are other e-mails).

Peachgirl,
The profitability looks like the big thing here. If the order was worth their while they are honoring it. If not they are cancelling it. I did not have the card, I was not entitled to the discount once the original conditions were revealed. I ordered with the belief that it was a legitimate offer, once I learned that it was not I decided to sit on the orders until Disney acted. I was hoping they would either cancel all orders or fulfill the first order placed only. I'm am only angry because they sat on the orders for a week before they acknowledged their mistake, and they let the mistake fly so long as it was in their best interest. I will be returning the item I rec'd with the discount since I did not deserve it, but I am a little upset that they didn't give me the option of cancelling that order before I had to cough up the s&h.
I'll just buy the L&S DVD at wal-mart, my nephew will not be scarred for life because he didn't get a Lilo $ Stitch plush and pin! LOL My weekly orders from Disney.com will now be curbed.

Someone posted this on another thread... but there is a website 'planetfeedback.com' where you can post a complaint, and read complaints/compliments about companies. That was first time I visited that site and think it is a professional way to voice a 'public' complaint (other than here) to Disney..

I sent an email back to Disney, outlining why I am dissapointed in their website, and the whole experience of this holiday promotion. I too used the code in good faith, thinking it was legit and just another promotion code. It brought me to the Disneystore where I never purchased from them online before, and just my whole experience of this has left a bad impression of the security of their website (no online security), nor of this promotion (in snowflake email, they say I can share with friends, yet with Holiday - that was a big no no). I'm just not pleased and there are plenty of other great offers out there to be had!

Thought I would share the planetfeedback.com site in case others (like myself) didn't know about.

This is the first time I've posted on this topic, I wanted the dust to settle a little... ;)

Disney made a couple of BIG mistakes. #1-handing out an online coupon without a proper identification system. #2-Not setting up their website to correctly adjust orders for the coupon. I don't mind they made a mistake, I don't mind I had to cancel all my orders except one, I don't mind they waited a week to inform me. What I do mind is they refuse to take responsibility for THEIR mistake! They pass it off that it was the fault of one evil coupon holder for putting it out on the internet. Give me a break.
Bad, bad PR. They should have offered at least one item at the discount. I bet there would be a lot less unhappy people.

If they are giving the discount to people who bought higher priced items, I didn't see it for the $70 watch I bought. I would try and contact them about it but I realize it would be of no use. Their online store customer service is horrible. I stopped shopping at the Disney Store last year when it became just a costume and stuffed animal store. Now I will not shop at their online store either.

Thanks for the planetfeedback link! I'm heading there right now.
