I couldn't believe the whole situation when I was watching last night!!! She is a pig! Nice house arrest...time to do her hair and makeup and look pretty...AND...

Who is the IDIOT that married her??? Did you hear what he said??? Something like ... I have been wanting her since we were young...It's just gross...

Let me add to the topic that a 24 yr old teacher in a near by town seduced a 14 yr old boy and they had relations in her car and her house. She certainly is not as attractive as the teacher in question HOWEVER she is the mayors daughter and the relationship took place in part in his home. Pretty big story huh? Well, locally perhaps but certainly not worthy of a national audience. WHY? Well in her interview with Matt Lauer the teacher stated, "Sex sells". That is certainly true.

There is no doubt she is a beatiful woman, but she is a criminal and should face the consequences of her actions. House arrest, imho, is getting off way to easily.

It's a darn shame that she got away with raping a 14 year old! That house arrest is a joke! If it had been a man he would be locked up forever! It's a shame our justice system is based on looks. But I do hope that now since she is saying that "he wanted it", in other words, not taking any responsibility that he will regret his decision to not to want to testify against her.

I found the interview disgusting and I think Matt was on edge as well about some of her ridiculous statements and answers to his questions.

She said HE (young victim) started flirting with ME.....WTH..... !!!

She was on Zoloft, she said she became immune to ALL antidepressants ...very sad situation.

I haven't read the replies yet so I don't know if anyone mentioned this but there was a famous case similar to this one near my town (up in Seattle), the boy was 12 I think and ended up fathering two of the teacher's kids. I said the same things then, that it was such a double standard and I got the same lines from people about how it just wasn't the same thing. Gag. Having a son, I can tell you that I definitely would feel just as outraged if something like this happened to him as I would if it were my daughter.

I watched about two minutes of the interview last night, that's about all I could handle. This woman appears to be "living" in another dimension. She is either heavily medicated or "her elevator doesn't go all the way up".

At one point during her trial, her attorney made a comment about her being "too pretty to go to prison".

my DFi told me this morning that her ex husband is a writer and wrote a book about the whole ordeal...I know that being under house arrest she cannot gain anything from her case but maybe she is doing it for him to get the book out there...
