14 Day Park to Park- $118 (Now only for Non-US Residents)

About how long is the line to exchange the voucher around 11:30-noon in mid June. To be more exact, June 18th. I happened to have booked my vacation on the opening day. Thank god for the FOTL for onsite guests.

My thought was to drop off somebody at the gate (is there a drop off zone) and have the rest check into the hotel.

Hmmm....masses, Huh? We'll have no choice but to exchange ours on the first morning we go, flight gets in too late, after 9pm. Well, I'm getting my kids up at the crack of dawn. We love to be there first thing and ride whatever we want for the first couple hours! We can sleep later! ;) Hoping by early Nov the "masses" will have eased some.

Hope you have a great trip!! Let us know if you encounter any problems w/tickets. TIA! :)

Last time we were there in December, no new attractions and we waited 40 minutes in line to purchase tickets at 9am.
I just realized the parks may be closed at 6pm, but we should be able to change the vouchers and maybe have dinner at citywalk.
I'm hoping they keep the parks open a bit later this year due to HP. 6pm is so early.

Just bought my tickets. 2 adults & 1 child starting on May 15th. $ 345!

What a deal. I will be nervous until I use them though but it sounds like others have not had problems.

No shipping charges. You print voucher and take with you to Universal to trade in for tickets on the day you start.

I exchanged my voucher on Wed. no problems at all! Jjust gave the ticket agent the voucher and showed my ID.

Just so everyone knows. Most Kroger stores still sell the $89 7 day park to park tickets. They are in the gift card section. Got mine yesterday and they have NO expiration. Yipee.

Interesting. About a month ago people were trying to buy them and the stores could not validate them and we were informed here that they were all pulled out of the stores. Make sure you have the validation receipt.

Well...Since the grand opening of WWoHP is that day, Universal will be overrun with people. I would suggest exchanging the voucher another day because if aren't there very early, it's gonna take forever but since you won't be arriving until 6/18 all you can do is hope for the best.

just to make sure i am understanding this correctly...

I can purchase 4 adult and 1 child 14 day park to park passes for $581.20? This would save me around $113 total than the 4 day passes I had found at the best price.

How can this be? I am a little nervous purchasing these but it seems like no one is having any troubles redeeming them at the parks.

We hope to travel 5/4 - 5/11 - we would only use a portion of the 14 days avaialable, but it is still such a large savings. I feel like I am missing something or misunderstanding something here....

please either tell me i am understanding this correctly or i am nuts. ;)

You're not nuts.
This is like the same $99 for 7 days online special they had running for a long time. Can't tell you how many people I told about it who didn't believe it when they were paying $60-70 for one day.
The only thing with this one, is it looks like the first date you go or exchange the vouchers, has to be the same date you picked to go and is printed on the voucher. Whether they would honor it if you didn't go on that date or not, remains to be seen...

I registered just now, so I could post this. I have followed this thread for a week or two previously.
I purchased these tickets ($118/adult, $108-ish/child) through Viator using code 7fab. No international fees on my card, just printed the vouchers and took them with me. I bought the tickets on 3/25/10 and was at Universal on 3/27/10.
Just like the previous few posters, I arrived after 6pm, paid $3 parking, turned over the vouchers hoping to be ready for the next morning. I handed them the vouchers (6 adults, 1 child) and purchase receipt. No one in the booth (3 people all shaking thier heads) had ever seen them before. However, they just made copies of them, looked at my drivers license, and minutes later handed me the hard tickets. They say Viator Inc. 14 day consecutive on the hard tickets. Took a total of about 3 minutes once at the booth (seemed shorter than the other people buying tickets).
There was absolutely no problems using the tickets. Had a blast. We only planned on 2 days in the parks anyways, so we ended up staying 3 1/2. When leaving Orlando, took the tickets to one of the "We buy tickets" booths and they gave us $10/each ticket.
This was a great deal.
I would like to thank the previous posters for posting the original information.

These are transferable?

And, I am a little unclear on something someone else posted, but you may be able to help: Do you have to declare the first date of use when you purchase? SO I have to declare that I will use beginning 6/20...and if I don't show up for some reason until 6/21, I *could* potentially be out of luck?

That's the same question I have for fingers958-was the date on your voucher the same date you exchanged them for tickets?
Viator says yes, you must exchange them on the same date you entered online. So far we don't know if Universal says the same thing...

As far as being transferable, I am sure they are not, but it doesn't stop people from doing it at Universal or Disney...

I'm still not sure about the exchanging the tickets on the EXACT travel date. I wasn't going to take the chance. I knew we would be in Orlando on March 27th (that is what I listed as my travel date on the voucher), so after checking into our hotel we went to the parks.
As far as the tickets being transferrable, I would think definately not. But, if the time share people want to buy used tickets, I will take the cash.

Thanks for replying. So we still don't know if US will honor the vouchers if you go on a different date than is printed on the voucher as the start date. I don't think I'd take the chance either, so nothing better happen to change our dates in November!!

Glad you had a good time.

I just went to the site again, thinking I would order. Now when you click on the title of the tickets and it takes you to the detail page it says something like "for non-U.S citizens only" or something like that. :sad2:
Did it always say this, and I missed it the first time, or was it just added?
Should have known it was too good to be true! What does this mean for those that have purchased, but not shown up at Universal yet?? How are they going to differeniate if you bought before or after they put this warning on the site??

I think they were always just intended for UK use since they are on the UK Universal site. However, Viator sells in the UK as well as in the US, so I can see where they probably thought they could be sold in both places. Maybe once they started appearing at Universal (people have said that they took a photocopy), Universal got back to Viator and informed them to stop selling. Realistically, why would they allow them to be sold when they are so much cheaper than the tickets sold by every other competitor? Could be that other competitors complained as well.

That info is new on that site. You should double check with Viator and see what they have to say. Universal probably agreed to accept what they sold up to this date or Viator will have to be returning everyone's money.

I used mine last week. The date on my voucher was 3/26 and I did not exchange it until 4/1. There was no problem. BUT I did notice a forgein exchange charge on my credit card.

When it seems too good to be true.........

Personally, I would have stopped when the website warned that proof of residency was required. Seen this mess happen too many times on the transportation board when people try to use a code meant for South Americans and have verified with the rental car hotline that they could use the code even though they were Americans. What happens? They get denied at the counter in the airport and are reminded of the terms of agreement.

In all seriousness, Universal doesn't have to accept these tickets and Viator can say they informed potential customers on the website that proof of residency was required.

I believe it always stated that. You can still purchase the tickets in the US, I believe that the line "for Non US residents" is a disclaimer for Viator. This way if you do get denied when trading in your voucher, you can't make a claim to get your money back. I will be heading there Tuesday with my voucher in hand and now a little nervous. Worse case senerio I will have to buy some tickets there.

I will let everyone know on tuesday

RUH-ROH...
That would be me. Not going until Nov! Voucher does not have date of purchase, but booking conf email does. I guess they might check with Viator before they issue my tickets. Looks like I better get up even earlier to get to the park, and be ready to battle!! :)
BTW..What time does the parking lot/ticket window open??

I believe it always stated that.

This info was DEFINITELY NOT there when I purchased 3/25. This is new as of yesterday. (according to Viator Rep). I had read all thru "terms and Cond", proof of UK residency was not required. Even got confirmation from Viator prior to purchase that it was "available for all who wish to book".

So...got on the phone this morn and confirmed with Viator that my voucher was indeed valid and would be honored by US, as I had purchased prior to yesterday, 4/8 when they changed the terms. Also called US Guest services for confirmation, was told there should be no problem. This remains to be seen, but I do feel a little better.

I will let everyone know on tuesday

Please do, I'd appreciate it! Good luck and have fun!
