Hi all

In Feb I need to make my ADR's and am on the DDP for 14 nights. On my Wedding night we will be eating at Victoria and Albert's, so I need 13 restaurants to have dinner in, I don't mind if I book some worth 2 TS. So I was wondering what most people would recommend?
I need to narrow my list down but I am hoping to try some wonderful restaurants. As it will be our Honeymoon, am hoping for some great ideas from you experts.
We both love all kinds of food so are pretty open when it comes to suggestions.

Thanks all

My favorite resturant in WDW is O'honna's! There is another resturant I really like to on the Boardwalk spoodles (Not sure is that is the right name but it is something like that!) Candice

For fun we have been to WCC and loved it! They have a great time with newleyweds too!!!

Narccoossee's at the grand Floridian simply great 2 ts the food the service the view of the water pageant and the firewroks just perfect!

Le Cellier - Epcot loved it dh's favoirte!

Coral Reef - We had a great time and enjoyed the fishtank and tank tables great food too!

Yachtsman steakhouse was a big let down and so was Boatrights for us.Cape May food was so bland.

THe ones we will be doing this trip O'Hanas breakfast
Crystal Palace for breakfast
Boma- dinner
Concourse Steakhouse
Spoodles
HOB Sunday brunch not on DDP

we will be doing all the others I mentioned WE will be going to Biergarten DH and DS loved it there, the food was jsut ok in my book but they loved the music and the show.

We will also be doing Sci Fi for lunch fun for DS. Hope it helps

Some of our favorites have been:

Boma - dinner
Artist Point - dinner
Brown Derby - lunch
Le Cellier - lunch/dinner
Ohana - character breakfast
Garden Grill - character dinner
Spoodles - dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern - character dinner

I would recommend LeCellier or Concourse Steakhouse for a good steak meal.
Since it is your honeymoon you have to eat in the castle, why not have dinner there.
We LOVE O'Hana's too, GREAT food, awesome atmosphere.
Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge is great, but we think Whispering Canyon Cafe is great fun too
You could splurge and do two credits at the Brown Derby at MGM.
We personally love Alfredo's in Epcot for Italian food.
Have a GREAT time!!!
Lesley

THe two that we loved (we were there last month) were Spoodles (Boardwalk) and Raglan Road (Irish Pub in front of Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney). At both the food and service were great and Raglan had Irish music and a step dancer in the evening. Would be a good place to go to if you were planning on an evening at Pleasure Island. At Spoodles you can take a walk around the lake after dinner and there are a few clubs there too. We really enjoyed both places and went to each twice during our trip. Congrats on your wedding and happy planning:goodvibes

so happy to hear you are doing V&A .....

as honeymooners I would do more adult dining

Do:

California Grill(an absolute must)
LeCellier
France(okay restaurant boggling my mind now..but book it....food wonderful)
Narcoosses (in GF)
Liberty Tree Tavern
Jiko (in AK)
Boma-do breakfast there
Captain Jacks
Wolfgang Pucks

have a wonderful time

Congrats in advance

absolute best dinners:
Spoodles (BW)
Boma (AKL)
Wolfgang Puck Cafe (PI)

absolute best b'fast:
Chef Mickey (CR)

good, but not as incredible as the above:
Chefs (EPCOT - France)
Tony's (MK)
50's Prime time (MGM)
Capt'n Jack's
Liberty Tree
LeCellier (EPCOT - Canada)

not worth the time (IMHO):
Cali Grill (CR)
Whispering Canyon (WL)
Rose & Crown (EPCOT - England)
Cape May (BC)

hth
& congrats!! :)

We tried Coral Reef and Le Cellier on the DP on our last trip, and enjoyed both. They may not have been worthy of all the hype that has been posted on these boards, but they were definetly more romantic and adult (even with DD4) than the other TS meals we normally frequent. Chef Mickey's is always a must do for us due to the atmosphere, but foodwise, I definetly preferred Boma. I'm a big soup/stew kind of gal, and this was right up my alley!

If I had no children...

LeCellier(E)
Narcoosses (GF)
Captain Jacks(DTD)
Wolfgang Pucks(DTD)
Hollywood Brown Derby(MGM)
Yatchclub Steakhouse (YC)
Tony's(MK)
Concord Steakhouse(Cont)
Kona(Poly)
Mama Melrose for Fantasmic(MGM)
Artist Point(Wl)

I would not do
Coral Reef(just ate there in december-the view is great, but the food was so-so, waiter kept ignoring my DH-obvious)

Wispering Canyon(wl)-too loud for a couple

Plaza(MK)-I like this place a lot, but not a couple on honeymoon

Beirgarten(E)-again not a couple on Honeymoon restaurant

So far this is what I have:

I have only done 8 days so far and the reason I have crammed so much in is my mother is only with us for a week, so she wants to see as much as possible and I want to try and organise for her to eat in the nicer restaurants, the ones that she may enjoy the most. There are loads more restaurants that my fiance and I want to try, but we can eat in them on our own.

16th eve of Wedding, no breakfast or CS, O'Hana TS
17th Wedding, Room Service OOP, Citricos TS, and Victoria and Alberts OOP
18th Epcot, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe CS, San Angel Inn OOP, Le Cellier TS
19th MGM, Old Port Royale CS, Sci-Fi Dine-In OOP, H'wood Brown Derby 2TS
20th Seaworld, Kona Cafe OOP
21st AK, Tusker House CS, Flame Tree BBQ CS, Boma TS
22nd MK, Old Port Royale CS, Terrace Noodle Station CS, California Grill 2TS
23rd (day my mum leaves:sad2: ) Chef Mickey's OOP

So what does everyone think of my selection so far, it took me hours to organise this:eek: Btw, we are staying in CBR for the first 7 nights and AKL the next 7 nights.

Thanks for all your help so far.

:wizard: JMO here, but I think by booking 2TS in one day, you are short-changing your park time a bit:confused3

Either way, congrats and have a wonderfull time
:wizard:

Do you mean on the day of the Wedding? If so we aren't going to the park on our Wedding Day at all.

I've actually spent time daydreaming about this, and, if DH & I were going w/o our children, the following restaurants would be on my "must-do's":

CRT for dinner - I think it would be absolutely lovely & perfect to dine in the castle on my honeymoon!
California Grill (which is already on your list)
Narcoose's at the GF (but, since you're already eating at Citrico's & V & A's, you may want to try somewhere else)
Artist Point at the WL
Jiko at the AKL (but, since you're already doing Boma, you may want to skip this one)
'Ohana at the Poly (we do this one w/ the kids too, but it's a good restaurant w/ a great atmosphere, especially timed w/ Wishes - love the view of the castle!)
WCC at the WL (again, we do this one w/ the kids as well, but we love the fun atmosphere!)
Le Cellier at Epcot (already on your list)
Rose & Crown at Epcot (timed w/ Illuminations)
Coral Reef at Epcot
Sci-Fi Dine In at MGM
Brown Derby at MGM
Chef Mickey's - just because everyone needs at least 1 character meal!

Have fun choosing!

Here are my recommendations:

California Grill
Narcoose's
CRT - Dinner (not a character meal)
Ohana
Kona Cafe
Sci-Fi
Hollywood Brown Derby
Le Cellier
Restaurant Marrakesh
Rose and Crown
Raglan Road
Fulton Crab House
Citricos

Have fun deciding!

Definately Cinderellas Royal Table ( how romantic is that eating in the castle!)
We also really liked Crystal Palace for dinner or breakfast LTT for dinner, Prime Time Cafe, way too fun! These are some of the ones we liked best. We ate at lots of character meals, so nothing really romantic. :rolleyes1 Thats what happens when you have kids:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks everyone for your responses so far. There seems to be alot of restaurants being mentioned by more than one person and as we are onsite for 14 nights, I intend to work my way around the world:thumbsup2
Although I have Boma in my list already, I will still add Jiko and Artists Point is on my list for the 2nd week. Hmmm CRT, I originally had this down for our first week as I thought my mum may enjoy this too, so I'm guessing that the fact a few have mentioned it, it's worth the 2 TS. Maybe my fiance (will be husband then) should go alone, what do you think, for dinner?
I'm really grateful to everyone this is really helping me narrow down my choices.

Okay, I think I have my ADR's sorted, it looks like loads on paper and my fiance is already moaning about them:lmao:

I have decided that as we are on the DDP, financially it's better to pay for buffet meals OOP. We all like TS restaurants, well I do anyway;) so there are alot of them here. Obviously the only ones I will reserve are my evening ones, leaving leeway for when we are hungry for lunch. I have researched this to death and I think I am finally happy with my list. I have tried to organise my ADR's depending on the park we are in at the time, trying to minimise travel. Most of the time it's possible but sometimes, I can't see any way around it.
My mum is only with us for the first 7 nights, which is why there are more TS when she is around. These are the restaurants I think she would like best. Plus on the day of the Wedding it's all OOP, our treat!

Here we go......

Thur 16th day of arrival, O'Hana's OOP
Fri 17th, Old Port Royale OOP, Kona Cafe OOP, Victoria and Alberts OOP
Sat 18th, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe CS, Les Chefs De France OOP, Le Cellier TS
Sun 19th, Old Port Royale CS, Sci-Fi Dine-In TS, Citricos 2TS
Mon 20th at Seaworld, Kona Cafe OOP, Smoky Creek OOP, U'water Grill OOP
Tue 21st, Tusker House CS, Flame Tree BBQ CS, Boma OOP
Wed 22nd, Chef Mickey's OOP, Terrace Noodle St CS, California Grill 2TS
Thur 23rd, Wolfgang Puck Express CS, Yakitori House CS, Rose and Crown TS
Fri 24th, Boma OOP, Tusker House CS, Jiko 2 TS
Sat 25th, The Mara CS, Hospitality Deli OOP, Kona Cafe OOP
Sun 26th at Busch Gardens, The Mara CS,
Mon 27th, The Mara CS, Backlot Express CS, 50's Prime Time OOP
Tue 28th, The Mara CS, Beaches and Cream OOP, Concourse Steakhouse TS
Wed 29th, MK Bakery OOP, MK Bakery CS, Artists Point 2TS
Thur 30th on DCL!!!

So what do you guys think? I still have 4 more days back in Orlando when I come back from our cruise so if there are any restaurants I have missed that you feel should be on there please let me know, I can either shuffle or fit them in when we come back.

I'm exhausted just looking at my list, but I'm an obsessive planner and I feel much better having looked into this, I know it may seem OTT, but you'll notice I haven't included where we will have our snacks:lmao:

Raglan Road at Downtown Disney was Hands Down a BIG highlight of our trip. I was recovering from knee surgery and had a miserable at the time 14 y o girl with me. We both loved the atmosphere and the food. You will NOT be dissappointed here. We were a wak up on the Dining plan- Everyone there was so nice to us, and the food hot, fast and supurb!
