Oh live posts are extremely fun! Your going to have an AMAZING time. I am super jealous and cant wait to hear every last little detail! Its going to be quite a long trip report .. that makes me verrrryyy happy!

Oh I am just so excited for you guys! It must be soo hard trying to find things to pass the time until your trip!! .. Cute gingerbread house! I was looking at your pictures and I have the EXACT same sweatshirt that Brenna is wearing. I actually wore it last night too! My dad just recently brought it home from me from his november trip! HAVE FUN FUN FUN!

I'm starting to catch up on TR's and I'm absolutely loving this! I'm so sorry for your losses, and so glad you all have a chance to lift your spirits Disney-style.

I must say, kudos on introducing your kids to the world of fine dining and culinary exploration. When I was growing up, my mom's boyfriend was both rather wealthy and originated from Austria, which translated into me being taken to quite a few fancy-shmancy restaurants, as well as some holes in the wall that produced THE most amazing foods, before the age of 13. I wouldn't trade it for the world, and hope I can introduce my little guy to some of the more interesting places around here when he gets a little older.

Disney Know & Tell #1 - Epcot: After Illuminations is over, instead of rushing to the front to get out, wait until the crowds subside, and take a leisurely stroll around World Showcase. It is one of the most romantic things you can do at WDW. They play the Tapestry of Dreams music and it's just beautiful watching the shimmering lights dance on the lagoon. I have to do this on every trip. It's sooooo relaxing and you feel like you have Epcot all to yourself. They don't start kicking people out until a good hour or so after close. You can exit at the front gate, or you can do what we do and go out International Gateway. You can always take a bus from one of the Epcot resorts to Downtown Disney, and then get on your resort bus. It's really worth it!
I just had to second this - one of my favorite time at WDW is after Epcot "closes". Boy, does that place empty out fast and you practically have it all to yourself! :cool1:

I'm so excited for your DIS meet! Wish I could head over, too, but no such luck. Have a great time!

I'm in love with the private tea idea! I can't think of much better than enjoying a nice pot of tea, a good scone and the company of family while looking out on The World from the GF balcony. Can't wait to hear all about it!

ALL of your plans sound absolutely terrific! May you and your family have the best time at WDW ever, and may your holiday be everything you wish it to be :grouphug:

Have a fantastic and well deserved trip! Looking forward to hearing about it when you return!

We're home!!! Our Christmas vacation was everything I had hoped it would be, and more!!! :santa: I have soooo much to write about! WoW! Everything was just wonderful in WDW! It's going to take me a few days to get this trip report started. We took A LOT of pictures, and I have to organize them!!! I also bought a PhotoPass CD with all of the PhotoPass pictures that we took between our Halloween trip and our Christmas trip. We ended up with 249 pictures on our CD! :goodvibes

Happy New Year!
