I just had to second this - one of my favorite time at WDW is after Epcot "closes". Boy, does that place empty out fast and you practically have it all to yourself!mlill said:Disney Know & Tell #1 - Epcot: After Illuminations is over, instead of rushing to the front to get out, wait until the crowds subside, and take a leisurely stroll around World Showcase. It is one of the most romantic things you can do at WDW. They play the Tapestry of Dreams music and it's just beautiful watching the shimmering lights dance on the lagoon. I have to do this on every trip. It's sooooo relaxing and you feel like you have Epcot all to yourself. They don't start kicking people out until a good hour or so after close. You can exit at the front gate, or you can do what we do and go out International Gateway. You can always take a bus from one of the Epcot resorts to Downtown Disney, and then get on your resort bus. It's really worth it!
We're home!!! Our Christmas vacation was everything I had hoped it would be, and more!!!I have soooo much to write about! WoW! Everything was just wonderful in WDW! It's going to take me a few days to get this trip report started. We took A LOT of pictures, and I have to organize them!!! I also bought a PhotoPass CD with all of the PhotoPass pictures that we took between our Halloween trip and our Christmas trip. We ended up with 249 pictures on our CD!
