I'm looking so forward to reading your report! Sounds like you had a great Christmas. Insidently, I too am tagless and have been so always. I'm still so nieve as to not know exactly where do the tags come from and what is required to receive such?

I'm in for this one too. Loving reading reports from DISers that were there when I was too!

Cass - Hi! Is everyone getting excited at your house? Where are you staying this time? PM me if you want to figure out a time/place for us to get together while you're in WDW. :sunny:

Oh my gosh Michelle, I just saw this now :guilty: I would have loved to have gotten together - although not at V&A's because they don't have chicken fingers :rotfl:

I am loving your updated report with photos and I am happy you had a great vacation, we did too.

I'm still trying to catch up on TR's and just stumbled on yours this morning. After some rough times you certainly deserve a magical vacation, that's for sure. I can't wait to read more...sounds like such a dream!!!

popcorn:: I'll be here waiting....

Do you mind me asking how much the Xmas tree was that you bought from the Disney Florist? That seems like a great idea for our Dec. trip!! :wizard:

So sorry about the losses that you and your family have experienced in the past year. I hope you got lots of pixie dust pixiedust: on this trip. I can't wait to read about your trip, and I am enjoying your pictures. What a lovely family you have. :)

WOOHOO! Great start!!! I love reports with lots of pics...so, you're my kind of girl:rotfl: ...I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time...you totally deserve it!!

Waiting for more...and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am cracking up with the "Death by Disney Dining - ADR List!" :rotfl2: That's exactly how I feel when making a Disney Dining Plan and then the actual eating! :lmao: I can't believe you went to V&A twice! WOW! I don't even know when we'll be able to make it there! I cannot wait to see the pictures and hear all about it! I want to know if it's really worth it and it sounds like it must be! :goodvibes

Also, I can now officially ask you this question! I am trying to decide between the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian to celebrate our one-year anniversary. We are planning on staying just two nights, but it'll be a lovely way to celebrate! Which should I choose!? I like both, so I am having a tough time deciding. Any input? :)

popcorn:: great TR !!! I can't wait to read the 2 weeks worth!!!

Love your Dining choices, can't wait to hear/see the food!!!

This sounds like a DREAM Disneyworld vacation!! I can't wait to hear all about it!

Sorry about all of your losses - you're right. Life is so fragile. I'm glad you and your family could celebrate your blessings with what sounds like the ultimate vacation.

Looking forward to more!

Well, we weren't planning on going to Victoria & Albert's twice! When we were having dinner in the main dining room on Dec. 16th, Israel Perez, the Maitre d Hotel, came over to our table to talk with us, and at the end of our conversation, he offered us the Chef's Table for Christmas Eve! Needless to say, we were all in shock. We told him that we appreciated his kind offer and that we would consider it. The final decision was made by dessert! We accepted his offer! It was AMAZING having Christmas Eve dinner at the Chef's Table in Victoria & Albert's!!! :cloud9:

As far as the hotel choice... I would have to lean towards a tower MK view Contemporary room. The view is the best on property. We liked the Grand Floridian, but we loved the Contemporary. Having California Grill right above you is wonderful. It's still one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. Plus, if you do decide to have dinner at Victoria & Albert's, it's just a short monorail trip away. We thought it would be better to be at the Grand and just walk to V&A, but since we were not in the main building, that walk is outside. If the weather is bad/raining you're doomed! Hey, when are you going to be moving down there?

-Michelle

That is so amazing! You got offered the Chef's Table! :hyper: Lucky you! That must have been such an amazing Christmas Eve! :santa: I can't wait to hear all about the experience! I can't believe the table was available and then you got it! How neat! What a magical moment! :wizard: Thanks for the info on the resorts! How were the rooms at the GF inside compared to the Contemporary? I am also a fan of the Contemporary! My parents actually stayed there for their Disneymoon back in 1974! :goodvibes Oh, and we are closing on the house on January 8! :woohoo: My Mom and I are on our way down to start moving in on the 9! DH will still be stuck here with work for a bit. I am soooo excited!!

cute post! I see those xmas trees EVERYDAY considering as I work at Joann Fabrics!! :rotfl:

I am loving your TR so far and the wonderful pictures. I am very jealous that you spent 2 wonderful weeks at WDW during Christmas, but excited to hear all about it from you.

We are leaving in 16 days to go home to Boardwalk and we are counting the days, hours and minutes!

I have subscribed to this and will wait patiently for the rest of the TR. Thanks for your hard work on this!
