Yikees - that was some serious crowd action at AK. I was there once when it was monstrously packed and swore never again.

Great video of the surry ride! Ya'll are too funny!

And what an amazing sunset! They're always best down here Dec. - Feb., and especially so when it's been a rainy day prior.

I love the surrey bike video! My kids wanted to do that SO BAD last trip, but they didn't meet the height requirement for a pedaler, and they're too big to sit in the little basket in front of the one seater, so we were out of luck, as they require three pedalers for the two-seat bike. I'm sure we'll face that torture soon enough!

Your sunset pics are gorgeous! I'm so sad your trip is coming to an end!

Those sunset pictures were just gorgeous! I am toying with the idea of trying to rent points for our Jan/Feb trip and I'm torn between the BW and AKL...your pics make it hard to decide cause they are so beautiful! I cant believe the TR is almost over --quick go back to wdw and keep this thread going!! LOL!

Great installment as usual. Love the sunset pictures. It looked sooo crowded at AK. We were there in early december and AK was the most crowded park we went to. The surrey bike looks like tons of fun!

Michelle, very late as usual (!) but wanted to say I'm still here and really enjoying your TR! That Surrey bike video was hilarious - I am SO relieved we didn't hire one. I just know from watching that we'd have been stressed to the back teeth on the thing. But, when I was watching it my heart ached for a second when I heard the BW resort music in the background. It was like being transported back there.

Can't wait for more!!

Hi Michelle, we rented the bikes and made a few trips around the Boardwalk a couple of years ago. Ugh, it was horrible!!! Then a year or two later when we stayed at Coronado Springs they had them and we thought since there were no big hills there it would be much easier so we did it again! We found out it wasn't any easier or any more fun!! (But we got that one for free so at least we didn't pay for it!) I loved the comment in the video (by your son I think) that this time you weren't going to use the brakes! We had the exact same conversation with my son on the bikes!!

I'm sorry your trip is coming to an end. I was reading it at work this morning and even looking at the crowds in AK I was thinking I'd rather be in that than sitting at my desk!

Thanks as usual for the awesome TR!! I too am sad it is almost over! The one good thing is it has really helped me get excited for our (fingers crossed) first DVC Xmas trip in '08.
Your bike video was pretty funny..by the end of the ride I would be hearing that darn bell in my sleep!!
