I can relate to your funk. We had a trip scheduled for last April, but had to cancel just two days before leaving. We rescheduled for September, but somehow I couldn't get into it again. (And I probably should say this was our first ever trip to a Disney park, with young children, so it was a BIG DEAL!)
The week before we were to leave, suddenly I had all kinds of things I should have been doing, and was scrambling. And the day we went to the airport, I was a little excited (and worried that I'd ruined everything by not re-creating daily schedules, lists of Must-Dos and Nice-To-Dos, and so on.)
No need to worry. I was almost in tears from the first cheery CM 'hello, and welcome to
Disneyland!' We wandered a bit aimlessly when we first entered the park, feeling a bit overwhelmed, then hit our first ride. What a blast! And things only got better from there, we had a fabulous time, and I still wish we were there every single day.
You'll have a great time. I hope your fog lifts soon, but if it doesn't, it will once you're there. I'm so excited for you!!!
