Anyway. Linda. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you what my name was. Its Cassie. I sometimes forget to put it at the bottom incase new people come in. Well I'm glad Your booked. My mom is still getting all the things together. She told me she'd offically tell me when everything is set and ready for December. I brought way to much last year. I over did it. But it was my first cruise. lol. So I'm really going to keep it simple, and try not to over do it. We brought pillow cases for characters to sign. I love mine. Brings lots of batteries if you have a digital camera. I know my parents did. I'm like dancing in my seat. I just can't wait till December.

I'm still trying to get my junior year of high school over with. My sisters and I are anxiously awaiting summer, so that it gets closer to winter. Its the first time we want summer to go by quickly.

Joy I sent you mine and my moms info. Need anything else just ask. Actually if you're still looking for a site to use. Theres this site Proboards. You can keep it completely private so that its only accessed if you register and you can make it so you can approve who registers. You can post pictures and things to. If you want more details on it, just ask and I'll give you the web address and explain it more. My friends and I use the proboards all the time.


Well I hope you all are having a nice week. I'm not I'm in the middle of writing a term paper for english ICK! I like english to a certain point and the terms that our teacher is making us write this paper is aweful. Oh well I'm whining now.

Becka....the room i must decide on by the 25th is on deck 7 (which i was fine w/ prior) but on the back of ship room 7001. its very last room on back. I have no clue if that is rough sailing in the back of a boat. This is only my daughters and my 2nd cruise. we didnt have ANY ill feeling 1st cruise but i still get paranoid. Know anything about rear of boat sailing? So far I am thinking of going w/ dreams unlimited...this was theiroffer (rm 7001) small world travel (agents) offers/rooms/price wasnt as good. I got to the 25th, thats why i'm reaching out to all you disney cruise veterans all your help is appreciated

When we cruised in Dec 2005 we were in room 8100 which was at the back of the ship (though a deck higher). We didn't have rough sailing or anything from back there, but there is a noticable "butt wiggle" to the ship which we felt mostly while sleeping. It was kinda soothing in a way. One downside to being in the back of the ship, you really felt it when they reversed the engines like when they stopped and turned around to back into CC. But it was a good way to wake up knowing we were at the day's destination.

We are looking at booking this cruise to celebrate my 40th birthday I'm wondering what the difference in the category 5 and 6 cabins are? They have both available and trying to decide. Thanks

It appears to me the main difference in the Cat 5 or 6 is the deck it is on, and the verandah. It looks like Cat 5's are all on deck 7, and have the clear glass around the verandah, while Cat 6 has the solid wall around the verandah.

We are in a Cat 7, Room 7536!

Have just booked! Kids are excited to see the ship decorated for Christmas. We are local - greater Orlando - and get to play in the parks often. 3rd Disney Cruise - first Eastern on Disney. Crusing will be myself, DH, DS (13), DD (10) and DD (6).

Thanks Joy for taking the time to put together the website. I hope the pictures I sent were not too big. I sent pictures of the kids but not of our family so I guess I will need to find one of those and submit it.

Welcome to all our new cruisers! December is not seeming quite as far away now. I filed our taxes last night and the refund will pay off our cruise which is always exciting. Now all we need to do is save up for gas, pre-cruise hotel, tips, excursions, etc..

I think we have definitely decided on Orient Beach on St. Maarten but we will just take a taxi rather than the DCL excursion. We still don't know what to do on St. Thomas yet. On CC I am really hoping to be able to parasail but other than that I plan to park in a chair with an umbrella and play with the kids and maybe finally try the famous Konk Kooler.

I am still not 100% happy with the way the group site is set up but it's the easiest to maintain for me right now. I could set up a separate website but I am afraid that I wouldn't have the time to maintain it with info.

December cannot come soon enough - except that I want to lose about 40 lbs first! My DH is currently looking to change jobs and I need to get past that first, and the salary changes, before I can focus on figuring out how much money to spend on vacation.... and I haven't even started my taxes yet!!

I am glad it was not too much trouble. I really need some photo editing software on my Mac but I wanted to wait for Photoshop Elements 6.0 which comes out this month so I have been making do without.

I have not tried to make a webpage in years but I could possibly make an attempt. The one thing I really like about the google groups is that we can set it up as private...a regular website would not have that same level of security. I do wish you could see all of the 'tabs' under each category instead of having to drill down. I thought when I checked this morning that you had taken off the kids section. I thought maybe I wrote too much.

Good luck to your DH with his job search. I know that can be so stressful. Good luck with losing 40 pounds as well. I have got to get serious about losing weight again. I lost 60 pounds last year and I think I have gained close to 20 of them back again. I need to lose that 20 and I would love to lose another 30-40 more before the cruise. I am running out of time!

I'm getting so excited as the months pass. But then again I'm also getting a rather large headache because all my finals are coming up. Its horrible, but I'll get through it.

Whats really bad here right now is the fact that we have the flu and really nasty colds going around. My mom has a really bad cold and I think I'm getting one. So it all stinks. Hopefully everything will get better. I really can't wait for warmer weather.
