Tis all over , but the shouting! No more nasty political ads! Our precent has 1,917 reg voters and 860 voted. I was 186 at 9 AM. Our PTO made $450 on the bake sale.

Of course I was patrotic and stimulated the economy today! And my Disney VISA card!

Thanks to all who went out to vote! Cheryl, I knew you and John would vote.

I did! and I worked and worked and worked..I have never seen so many people! we had over 800 people in our precienct (I know I spelled that wrong but since i just go home after working the election for the last 16 hours...I deserve it...

It makes for a long day! A friend that I worked with is now an election worker at my precinct. The PTO had a bake sale and we had hot dogs, chili and soup. They liked that.

Just wanted to say a public Thank You to Mike and Linda for the sweet get well card that I found in my mailbox today! And just to let ya'll know,the surgery is set for 1:30 on Monday. Looks like they'll be putting in a metal plate and couple of screws.

BTW............I am a winner. I was given a gift card from Sears at a Baby convention(john's company he works for has one there) and I won a $500 gift card to Sear or Kmart.

This morning I saw it for 1.91!

I told dh that I wish we had a road trip to go on right now! But, with the kids having play rehearsals nearly every night for the next 3 wks... and then the show opening...... I don't think there is a chance for that right now!

Des I'm going to leave the voting up till the end of December, but the way it looks now, there is going to be 2 meets...one in June & one in August. We will definitely be doing the August one, because of the kid's school.
