12-3-09 December 3, 2009 3 nite WONDER

I just called DCL and was able to move my bounceback cruise to 12/10. I am glad they were able to move it but I am sad not to be sailing with you all! Please enjoy your cruise and good luck with the fish extenders!

awwwww..I hate that you all will not be sailing with us!! Hope you have a great time on your trip though!!! Now just to find someone to organize the FE exchange!!

we just got the bad news too. I don't know when we're going to go now. Got 2 SILs to consult... Bye. :( sniff sniff

Hey Lisa,

I'm still here! So does the fact that our cruise is a black out date mean that it will be a more busy time? Just wondering:confused3

I'm still here too. Sorry to those who won't be with us any longer, what a bummer.

I guess we'll find out when the time gets closer if it will be busy.

Why isn't it December already?? Here it is April and we have SNOW!!! nothin great but still...geeezzzz lol.
Hope you all are doing well:)

I just booked the Dec 3 cruise! :) It will just be me (29) and my fiance (30)(who will be DH by then-we're getting married in May). I have always wanted to try Disney cruise and this sounds like a great chance-esp since all the decorations will be up!
I initially called Costco to book (but actually booked with DU) and the Costco travel agent made me feel bad for going on a Disney cruise and not having any kids :confused3 He said, "I've never heard of someone booking a Disney cruise without kids, are you sure you want to go?"
It sounds like there are tons of activities for adults AND kids on the cruise and we are looking forward to it!

We did our first Disney Cruise without kids as well (I was pregnant with our first child though). We had a great time and would do it again but how do you tell your three year old that you are leaving him at home to go on the Disney Cruise?

First of all..welcome!! and Congrats on your engagement and up coming marriage :) Yea! another TN person on here!! What part of TN are you from? I am just a little east of Chattanooga.
As for taking a Disney cruise without kids......we saw several people on our cruise this past summer that had no kids, in fact if you got the introductory DVD it explains that those cruise also have special activities and areas for people without kids.
Look forward to getting to know you and hearing more from you!

Welcome GirlfromTN! I wouldn't worry about the costco TA-he probably wouldn't go to WDW either without kids-crazy people! Anyway, congratulations on your wedding-my DH and I were married in May too. Its a great month:goodvibes

Yep I've got the cruise DVD and have read tons of trip reports on the boards. We can't wait!
I'm from Crossville (1 hour west of Knoxville) and have lived in Knoxville and Nashville...but I left TN to move to Atlanta a few years ago. I love it because we can DRIVE to WDW in about 6.5 hrs, making last minute weekend trips completely easy! We're planning to drive to Port Canaveral for the cruise as well=4 day weekend off work. :)

Hi everyone! I have booked and paid for this cruise too!!! (Doing the happy dance! :dance3:)
My DH & I will be renewing our vows on this trip with our children for our 10th anniversary. It will be our first Disney cruise, and our second cruise ever. I hope to get to know my fellow DISers and hope that y'all will be able to come watch my ceremony!

Welcome, CinderelliT! Congratulations on 10 years! A cruise sounds like a perfect way to celebrate.

Oh we just booked a cat 12 gty (just two of us, and I figured we'd be so busy on the 3 night cruise that having a balcony or oceanview wouldn't matter). So not sure where our room will be yet!

I can't believe a travel agent would ever question where a paying customer wanted to go!!! How awful! We did the land and sea for our honeymoon. People thought I was crazy for doing Disney on our honeymoon, but we had an absolute BLAST!!! We also met several other honeymooners and we all had fun. One of the great things about Disney is they enforce their rules so if you are in the adult only areas - you won't see kids! I have always said they go above and beyond for the adults.

We booked Cat. 12, too, and can't wait to see where we end up!
