ohhh, how nice! wonder what it could be?!

I am working in the a.m. (Sunday), but made an exectutive decision to close the store early to go with DH's family to dinner.. my dd was making me feel guilty for working -- and that's one of the pro's with owning the place, I have the ability to close early - i just put a sign on the door and on my website, and done. LOL
That's why i am in business for myself! LOL

Happy Mother's Day!

I've been working late pretty often so we decided to just stay home today and be lazy. It feels good to not have to run anywhere.

We're not going to spend any time at WDW when we go on the cruise. I'm hoping we can go next year, maybe just after school gets out. Hopefully we'll beat some of the summer crowd.

Happy Mothers Day to everyone!! I had a lovely day with my family here at home. Kids and GK's came with flowers and gifts. DH made me breakfast in bed!! Lovely day here and now winding down to a quiet evening with just DH and I.

Gk's brought me a wonderful gift which is a special painted frame for each one of the kids with special DCL pictures inside. Each one of the GK's choose a picture frame, painted it and put a picture of themselves and me inside the frame. Like the Master Card commercial, PRICELESS!!

I like birdhouses so every Mother's Day my DH looks at all the pictures of the three of us from the past year and covers a birdhouse with them - he started the year Melissa went to Kindergarten. I bet next years birdhouse has pictures from our cruise.

I display them on a table, but the table will be full after next year - So I might need a different place to put them

WAHOOO for you guys!!

You just reminded me that I really need one more DCL robe from the Magic as one of our robes from the Romance package from our last trip is missing!! I can't wait for our trip to get another robe as I sure miss using my Magic robe.

One more week and youngest DD will be graduating from University with a double degree in Poli Sci and English!!

Just back from our Sunday night DIS meet at the Grand Californian. We flew down and met 40 persons who will be on our WB Panama Canal cruise for dinner. We also stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel where Johnny Depp was also staying for the POC premier. Security was way too tight to get near the suites where he was staying but we saw lots of celebs coming and going from the two suites where he was holding open house.

Belated congrats to your daughter. DW is a college professor and we've been going through "get the grades in" so the students can "walk" mode for the last ten days. That's all done now and we can actually appreciate the nice weather we've been having.


By the way, I think you are the A-list celeb in my book. The security was to keep Depp and the other B-list types away from you and the rest of the DIS crowd.

Thanks for the congrats. Her University cuts it much closer to the wire. Samantha took her last final yesterday and turned in her last paper at 5:00 PM. She is officially "done" with school as long as she gets passing grades!!

Very cool, except the price tag for the room only for the two of us for one night at the Grand Californian was $425.60!!
