Of course I don't mind. Jay and I own an ornamental iron & welding business. I do the books, and he does the hard work. We do everything that you could think of that would be made of steel, copper, aluminum...... fireplace screens, spiral staircases, gates, railings, tables, pot racks (in the kitchen).....and a lot of repair and also decorative items.
Which reminds me, I owe Denise a dinner bell! Triangle-thingy. LOL
We have a pretty good (great) staff of guys....which helps when we want to get away. The bad part is that no one else does MY work. It's always waiting for me when I get home. Jay never did work in the field that he went to college for. He discovered the business for sale in Cave Creek about 22 years ago, and taught himself how to do it. It has grown immensely from that time. It's been a great business, but it's hard work, and Jay wouldn't mind retiring soon. We're waiting for A. The kids to get through college and B. To see if Jared wants the business someday. THEN.......we'll find a nice island to build on. Thus, my excuse for all the cruises! Searching for the right spot. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Even DD is looking forward to it. I think she got bored this summer. It is the first summer she has been home rather than in a "daycare" program all summer. So she had to play with her cousin most of the summer. They are only 10 months apart (Sam is the older one but shorter by almost 7 inches!!) but are like night and day. I think they did better when they only saw each other occasionally but since my SIL moved in across the street they are together much more often (just about every day this past summer). Ah well, they will survive.
Makes us appreciate them more, eh?
, and still have to vist the "budget" and "dismeets" board (doing a dis meet at Canobie Lake Park this Sunday
