12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise

Well...the men-folk should be home from baseball practice soon...guess I should rustle up some grub. (that's not how we talk out west)
Lucky for Jared, one of his teammates owns an indoor gym with batting cages and all. At their house!

Waaay too much....but they are really a nice family. All boys, except the last one, Jared's teammate...she's a girl. ANd a great ball player.
They have a system set up to time the pitches and film the batting, play it back....just like the pro's. Amazing. The oldest just got a full ride scholarship for baseball, so I guess the investment paid off.

Stacey - that is too funny, I don't think you are a bad mom. How galant(sp) of the boys, for half the night anyway .


We sailed on Carnival Miracle out of Baltimore and must say it wasn't what I thought. The ship is the same size as Magic. The service was very good and the food was just like Magic. When I see a ship with a port/s I want to visit and the ship leaves from Baltimore and costs less than DCL I am on it.
