Morning Kat - My BIL loves to listen to music. Just not my taste and I really try to limit my visits when other things are going on. Are you going to a restaurant for Thanksgiving?

Sue

Yeah horses are my life. I can't imagine a day without them. I have owned my own horse since 6, and have been riding since 3. I mean i looked really funny when i started, but i would like to think I am an advanced rider. I mean, to place 8th out of 492 horses in the Open pole bending at the Quarter Horse Congress is no easy feet. Oh well. I will stop now.

REVENGE OF THE SITH COMES OUT TOMORROW!!!

wow i am soo excited. Well, i best be off to class. bye all.

GOOD MORNIN ALL
I went too new mexico over the weekend. Sold my show horse trailer and delivered it there to the horse show. LOOOOOOOONG drive .
Kat I was down I 69 From fort wayne too indy your area ???? I could have flow by for a meet.

Looks like I might leave earlier for W D W in dec. I might get to leave on the 5 or 6th

well LOTS OF WORK TOO GET DONE

have A great day all

I'm not going anywhere until Feb. when my family might go to an all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic. Fun stuff! Boo might be going to a pro. reining champion. He helped to train the APHA champion stallion Paint Me Hobby. Got to convince mom it's a good idea.

gaRry - That looks like a long drive! Did you have fun? Jen - I have the 'clones' dvd from Blockbuster. I am getting ready for the 'Sith'.

Sue

Sue, no we are making dinner. We are renting two apartments, complete with kitchens and are bringing a huge ham with us that we will put in the oven Wednesday night after we arrive so it can slow cook and be wonderful by Thursday afternoon

gaRry, yup, I am about 70 minutes south of Ft Wayne (about 45 minutes north of Indy) on I-69. Not many people come that way to go to the southwest though I wouldn't think, unless you then head west from Indy or something. Let me know next time...

The kids are out trick-or-treating. :maleficen DH is driving the lawn tractor with the trailer behind it. He does this every year and the kids just love it as they don't have to walk everywhere. DH seems to get a real kick out of it too. So here am I waiting for the doorbell to ring (it seems to have slowed down but there is another hour of it left). I am trying to be good and not eat candy (bad diabetic, bad bad!).

:maleficen Happy Halloween everyone!!!!! :maleficen

Well today is the day... in about 22 minutes, i will hopefully have my copy of Episode III on hold. I will leave you with a general quote, but it's so sad.

"20 years ago we didn't really understand why the first was the fourth.
Now, we don't even want to remember that the third... will be the last"

May the force be with you.

Oh jEn happy day. Happy day. I was thinking about you when I saw the ad that the movie was releasing today. ENJOY.
I am looking forward to the new Harry Potter movie myself.

Trick or Treat...Sierra burned out half way through the neighborhood. Got a good 5 pounds of candy though. We didn't make it to the house that was giving away Dippin' Dots. :guilty: C'est la vie.

Hey Kat, I have talked Paul into going to New York maybe next year for Thanksgiving. I want to take the girls to see the parade. Never been to NY. Should be a good time of year to go.

Bubbles I know what you mean about girls and being mean. Tell her Happy Birthday for us.

Well Mars is fading away as the sun rises so I'm off to start my day. Have a great day everybody.

D

Denise, sounds cool. We don't go every year but Mom wanted to go this year so off we go. I will let you know how our apartment is.

Jen, I guess I am the wrong generation to be that excited about the release of SITH. I remember standing in line to see the original movie and thinking it was the greatest movie I'd ever seen. For those of us who were raised on that this last one just didn't quite cut it. I still don't understand how Annakin went from moody teenager to a killer of children. Oh well, to each his own...makes the world a better place when we don't all like the same things!

I too am looking forward to the Potter movie. My SIL and I have tix to the midnite show Thursday night  and we have tix to take the rest of the family on Saturday evening  . We also have our tix for opening night of Narnia. :Pinkbounc

i never said that ROTS was the best of the 6 episodes. But it was certainly the best of the prequels. My favorite is still Return of the Jedi. my order is this...

1- Return of the Jedi
2- Revenge of the Sith
3- A New Hope (<--that's the original)
4- The Phantom Menace
5- The Empire Strikes Back
6- The Attack of the Clones.

so I vary in my opinions. well, i gotta go watch my beloved dvd. bye all.

Got some bad news. Our school district just changed the holiday for Christmas next year so that we don't get out until the 22nd. It is only tenative but it is looking like that is where it is going. If it was only a matter of taking my son out for a week I would definitely consider still going but since I teach in the district we definitely won't be able to go if the school calendar is changed. :guilty: My DS was crying when I told him and my DH was mad. I'll let you know. Not a great way to end the day though.

pooh luver, that really blows! :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Jen, I understand. My favorite will always be the original. After that they all fall short to me but that is just how I am. I hated the kid they had play Annakin in Phantom Menace, waaaaay to whiny. Oh well...

POOH LUVER! YOU HAVE TO GO! :bounce: :bounce: :earseek:

See i like Jake Lloyd, but not in TPM. He was in my favorite TV show, so I was used to his whineyness before TPM came out. lol. I will always love ROTJ, but ROTS is just so dang close. See, i am a techno freak, and there was so much new technology invented just for ROTS. Plus, its got a great soundtrack and :lovestruc Hayden  is just drop-dead gorgeous. He will live on as Anakin for the rest of his career. Not to mention, Ewan (Obi-Wan) isn't ugly either.

Oh, pooh luver. So very sorry to hear you may have to cancel. Knowing many teachers I know to take vacation time, especially before a break, is impossible. I will send Pixie Dust :wizard: your way and hope that your district changes thier mind. Please keep us posted. Big hug to your DS

Jen, yes, Ewan McGregor is one gorgeous dude, I will definitely agree with you on that one!

Our poor kitty is really sick. DH has to take him to the vet today. They diagnosed him with tape worm several weeks ago but he isn't getting better, in fact seems to be getting worse. Poor guy. He seems to have forgotten where the litter box is these days, ugh. Oh well.

gotta go get myself and the kid ready to go this morning...
