That is great! I participated in Nielson years ago and I think I got $5.

well i hate to publicize this, but we became a friend of the president of Disney Cruise line. He sat next to us at dinner, was on our pirates excursion, and my parents sat next to him at palos. So i asked and he said sure.

Did you push the button with "Donalds Best Pal" Matt? I think I read this on the 10 day thread. How cool! Twice we have been onboard when the cruise line president was on. The last time was in 2000 and I believe the guy you met replaced him.

yes i did, though at the time i didn't know he was also a member of the boards. It was great to meet him. He's really nice. The President was a really down to earth guy. He didn't draw attention to himself. My sister became friends with their 14 year old daughter. It was a good time. Once in a lifetime chance i always say. I don't expect it to ever happen again. but who knows. maybe my kids will get the chance to push the infamous "mickey whisle".

I recognized the new pres from the DCL show on the Travel Channel and did see him around. That is so neat. What an experience!

it was a great experience and made me realize, after seeing him work, that he doesn't just go on the ships to take a vacation. He actually is working. what a life. lol. I can only hope that one day, i will get to work for DCL. i just want one contract. maybe between college and law school.

my 17yo niece would love to play the trombone on a cruise ship. sadly DCL uses canned music. RCCL has a live orchestra and I don't know about the others. She goes to Mt Hebron HS in Ellicott City, Md. She is looking at Elizabethtown College, in either York or Harrisburg, I can't remember or Albright in eastern Pa. She hopes to get a scholarship for the 'horn'.

you are soo lucky to be going for so long. to do new years and christmas. that must be exciting. i wish i could go away that long. but by that time i will be in college

Cash looks really cute. and he seemed very well behaved on the last 10 day. you are very lucky to have a great companion like him. i know my dog is sometimes my best friend.
