I know - add 12 parents and it is a big group. Last year we took 62! But it is an amazing trip. We go to Hong Kong, Ghongho (sp?) - Canton, X'ian, and Bejing. It is an eyeopening trip for the kids and I love to be part of it.

Can anyone tell me if the Capre shirts are pre-shrunk or not? I hate ordering clothes on line cause can never tell how well there going to fit this bod of mine!

haven't gotten one yet...my mom is pissed at me so i haven't asked her yet

I'm home from Bunco and thought I would check in--I'm a little too wound up to go straight to sleep...

Yes, my shirts came yesterday. I don't think they are pre-shrunk and I would definitely "round up" on the sizing. They are good quality Hanes (not undershirt-like, thicker) and the imprint is nice, colors are good--doesn't seem like something that will come out with normal washing.

Does anyone have recommendations for putting Mickey on the front? Normal iron-ons don't always stand up well to washing. Anyone know any tricks? Doesn't seem like the fabric iron-ons lend themselves well to the Mickey design.

OK, now I'm feeling sleepy...amazing how quickly I can wind down when I'm not talking to people...

I printed out the iron-ons for shirts last night for DD and myself. Haven't brought myself to talk to DH about it yet .

Good question. I woke up because I couldn't breathe. I have a cold, like everyone else around here. I am waiting for the sudafed to kick in. Until it does I have to stay vertical or my sinuses fill back up and I can't breathe.

LOL. Good thing we can't spread colds over the boards!! DD has had this cold all week. I think she is getting better. Lots of folks at work have had it too. I finally got more vitamin C and have started taking that again and will all winter. Found some stuff for DD to take this winter too to help ward off the yuck. I pretty much live on sudafed in the winter though, I have terrible sinuses.

Well, for someone that wasn't going to order shirts, I ended up getting two for myself and one for Julia. Couldn't help it...they look so awsome. Great job, Jen & Dee . I think I got a mug too , can't remember though.

Got an email from DU last night about the dinner linking. Seems DCL has me on Main dining . My ressie with DU has shown me on second dining for two years . Hopefully, they can straiten that out for me today. Everyone else was on second dining though.

Morning Mary Ann! It is POURING here this morning, yuck. Off to work soon. Yeah, think I need coffee this morning. I know I need cash so the ATM is the first stop.

Sounds like they are mixed up on your dining ressies. I would think it would be easier to switch from main to late than vice versa, though. Good luck!!!

Morning everyone! (Althought it looks like you're all gone.)

Raining here, as promised. Something about the Mexican hurricane remnants... Too bad they didn't swing back SoCal and get rid of that fire first! It's supposed to rain all day, but is warmer than originally talked about, in the 50s.

Kat, are you doing the Mickey on the front in the fabric transfers or the regular? It seems like the fabric would be good for the ship picture, but the Mickey thing is such an odd shape...

Mary Ann, good luck with your dinner reservations....hope they didn't mess ours up too! Our reservation sheet says late, but I'm guessing yours did too? So do I need to call to be sure? Seems to me that on Disney there would be more demand for the early dinner.

I'm confused a lot this morning, aren't I?

(edit) Ignore me, Mary Ann, I just re-read your post....you SAID everyone else was on late....like I said, confused. Could it have anything to do with a late night and a couple of glasses of wine last night? AND a rainy day?

Good morning... I'm the early riser on the west coast. Pardon my ignorance. What is DU? I know what a DUI is? What is DU.

I checked my ressies on line yesterday. Something I do just for the excitment of it and I see that they have switched our hotel in Orlando. Anyone else staying the night Friday at the airport through Disney?

I gotta wander in the car and go to work now It is a teacher day - no kids. DH is staying home with ours - I know they could stay by themselves but its a great excuse isn't it for a day off.

Teacher days are sometimes good but mostly dull. I will check in if I can get away.

Have a good day w/o kids. (Yes, you have to do all of the tekkie stuff, but at least it's a change in the routine!) It's nice that DH is staying home--good bonding opportunity.

OK, so I'm off to work out. MeatLoaf was on the today show, and I'm now motivated to exercise. Not sure if it was hearing "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" or just knowing I'll look like him if I don't work out, I'm ready!

(I guess tho, that he has lost a lot of weight--he's still a big guy!)
