This is going to be one of those kinds of days. I may just add some alcohol to my morning coffee. Can you help me find some sort of legal reason to kill my middle child?

Good morning... I'm the early riser on the west coast. Pardon my ignorance. What is DU? I know what a DUI is? What is DU.

DU = Dream Unlimited Travel. The company that sponsors (well, actually, I believe the owner of DU, Pete Werner, owns DIS) the DIS Cruise Line Forums.

Perhaps a temporary insanity plea after the fact :goodvibes

I don't feel bad, just sinus drainage which I pretty much live with all winter, every winter. Sudafed PE is my friend :).

Why do you want to kill your middle child, Bronwen???

I am sitting here at work with my DD under my desk watching Sponge Bob Square Pants on her DVD player. The person who was going to watch her this morning fell through. Fortunately my work is ok with this as long as it isn't a frequent thing and as long as the parent works and the child doesn't bother others. She has been very good and quiet so I am ok.

Susan, we aren't staying through Disney but we are staying at the Best Western near the airport on Friday night. We are renting a car and driving to port on Saturday. How are you getting to port the next morning?

Morning everyone :surfweb:
I always seem to be the last one here in the morning and the last one in the evening! Darn

Kat sorry to here about your cold/sinuses and hope you dry up soon!

Hope the rain stops...

MaryAnn, sorry about your seating and hope you can change it back.

And everything else going on.

I am sleep deprived as my 12 y.0 has had a report due today and has had 2 weeks to do it,put it off till last minute thinking "gee I can get this done on time no problem" he started it at around 5:00 and finished it last night at 1:00am. He had to use my comp in my bedroom because printer is in my room.

I asked him in the morning"So will you ever do that again"(wait till last minute)..he replyed "NOooo WAY". Hopefully he has learned a lesson. I am trying to give him a little more responcibility(altough he is crazy!!!!) not just hard love  on him but geesh...hard on me also.

So I have goten a total of 5 hrs sleep. Feels like I had only one :surfweb:

hello everybody...had class this morning then back to bed for me...lol...just woke up for my afternoon class...thank goodness its friday!!!

This morning I was sitting at my desk and he was headed out to buy a new pair of shoes for work. He walked to the front door but I didn't hear it open (always worried the dog will sneak out) instead I heard this glass tinkling noise... still no front door opening. Then the door opens and I'm thinking to myself I know that noise, it's the one my husband makes when he dumps his change into a glass jar. This is how we save up money for Christmas. He dumps all of his change each day into the jar. I have them seperated into demominations. So I go in to look... almost all of the coins are gone. No quarters at all, few dimes, lots of pennies and some nickles.

I'm very giving to my children, if they ask for it they can have it, the other two are very good about asking (pigs) but the middle one has always had a problem with it. I caught him several years ago taking their lunch money and he knows how I feel about stealing. There is just NO reason to steal in our house, you ask, you get it. He has a job, granted his hours were cut the last month and he went out and got another job, so he has money. I just don't understand it.

So now nearly a years worth of saving is gone. I would easily say it's about 500 bucks. It's not the money, it's the fact he felt he could do this and just get away with it. ARRRRRGH!

OMG! that's horrible! Why don't you just bring legal action against him? I mean i know he's your son but still...He's stealing..and if he's doing it with you he's liable to just go out and rob a bank!

Justifiable homicide, in my book!

Aren't we a sleepy group today? And many of us soggy!

Robin, your story cracked me up. Isn't that a lesson we all learn the hard way? Hopefully the lesson was actually learned, although I know some people need several tries to get it right. :teeth:

OK everyone, as Jen pointed out, it's Friday...we can make it!

I think it's just more stupidity on his part than anything else. When ever he left he just thought I'll take a couple of bucks, no one will miss it. Didn't dawn on him that if he did it each time he went out the door the money would be gone. And yes, he really is that clueless some times.

then he needs a big wake up call

Wow, sounds like my SIL taking money from my Mom's wallet. Like no one is going to notice? Yeah, right! We've noticed and her days are numbered. Ugh, that's another story and headache that I really don't want to get into right now, rather just forget it as it is going to make life so much more difficult very soon :furious: .

On a better note, my sweety brought me flowers! I got a call to go to the front desk for a delivery. He stopped at the bucket guys (we have these guys who park on the side of the road with buckets full of flowers, usually carnations and roses, and sell them at a pretty low price) and bought me a dozen roses, just because! He'll do that and just drop them off. It makes the ladies here jealous!!!

Gosh I feel like I have a part time job keeping up with everyone on here. You guys are busy bees. Well off to a meeting - hopefully of minds but really does that ever totally happen?

Wish me luck having to plan DH company christmas party.

Kat--what a nice pick me up for you! You'll have to give DH a big :love2: when you get home!

Angela, doesn't going on a cruise excuse you from hostessing the party? That COULD be fun, but with all else that's going on.... :scared1: Well, here's some PD that you actually enjoy it all instead of wanting to pull your hair out. pixiedust: I have no advice other than "start early."

Off to do after school shift, :drive: in the rain... :sad2:

Happy Birthday to Julia :bday: party:

Kev went to the kid board and wished her happy birthday, and gave a general shout out to everyone. :cool1:

Susan, doesn't your almost 14 year old have a birthday soon? My almost 14 year old has his next week, and I'm thinking yours was close.

Another housefull of little boys on a rainy day.... :jumping1:

So here I am again...after my last post while I was waiting for a response back I decided to go over my e-mail. Well did not make it to the PTA meeting the other night so decided to read the "Minutes" to see what happened.
So Im reading trying to keep my dead eyes open thinking I should just take a nap and all of a sudden I read..

Red ribbion walk-jog -a-thon hand pout apples and water to kids and communitee luncheon and I see my name down as one of the volunteers...

I say **** that starts at 10:20 and it is know 10:00.So I run through the house to find my red shirt(after all it is red ribbion week so must were red when voluntering) Then I throw some makeup on(has to be on half way good because I am a MaryKay Consultant for 9 years and have alot of customers there)..then say again ****forgot to send Michael in a red shirt ...he is wearing blue,so hunt around for a Red shirt for him to change into

Okay doing good I get there just in time...well a little late to help set up but after all Im doing this on no sleep. So I go to Michael and ask him"Do you want your red shirt"he of course says "No".

So we are done with that..and it is know time for lunch, I am on the Milk/Choc. Milk station..It is spaghetti today because well I guess because it is red!

I am done and go sit with Michael and his friends...when they are all done all his friends say goodbye and Michael well he went to throw his trash away and left...A duty saw this and sent him back to say goodbye and to give me a hug...he know's to listen to those duties or else!

My next chore is to bring a popcorn machine that I fanagled from the elementary school to donate to the Middle school but needs to have glass replaced(safty glass) to get repared because another e-mail said"Robin any chance we could get the popcorn machine from you by next week.. for a dance? and again I said ****. Tonight I need to go to the school and help set up for Fall festival tomorow and that is another loooog story.

Should have told you to get some popcorn for this popcorn:: popcorn::
