12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 2

Howdy cruisers!!!

Just popping in to say I'm still alive, just busy. Man it is hot today. It was 90 at 10:00 this morning.

DD6 went through the sunroof of the car this past weekend. I didn't need that $1000.00. AARGH. So when she does get out of being grounded may very well be the time of the cruise.She is lucky there were no stitches involved.

Mom is healing, still black and blue, but getting better every day. She is not allowed out of the car until someone is there to help her out. Poor mom.

Gotta go the monster calls.

I saw the DCL show last night. It's even more fun to watch when you know you are cruising in 6 months.

Matt, I don't remember if I met you on the last 10 day or not. Were you at the DIS Meet on sail away day? Are you still in High School? Good luck on your new move.

Kat, just curious...why did you move around so much????

The kids are in school until June 19th, which is a Monday and they have a half day. I thought it was kind of silly to open all the buildings one day after the weekend for a half day of school, especially since they are just having parties that day anyway. I have all my projects for my house lined up for the summer. Now, just hoping I have the funds to finish them all . No camps for Julia this year. She used to love them, but now she would rather stay home.

Carol, sorry to hear it didn't end up working out for your DD. Julia has already informed us, save college, she is never moving out. A smaller house is looking better and better .

I dont think we met on the last 10 night. At the last minute I decided not to attend because of someone in particular that I was upset with. I know everyone said I should still come but I didnt feel comfortable. But thats why I probably didnt meet you on the cruise last time.

I will be a junior next year, so I am half way done. Thanks for the good wishes on our move. We have our new house being built in California... we just need our house in Miss. and FL. to sell.

Yes Denise, how did she manage that one? Is she OK?

Glad your Mom is on the mend. It must be frustrating for her. Hopefully she listens to advice so she can get better quickly.

i am going to Elon university in NC for a major in Computer Science and Forensic Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. My ultimate goal in life is to be a counter terrorism specialist for the CIA.

DH just left on a charity motorcycle ride with SIL. At the end of the ride today they get to ride the cycle around the Indy 500 track! He thinks that is pretty cool

Garry, sure. Next weekend he is taking a class that his instructor is doing. He has been doing some diving at the quarry here but would love to get out somewhere else. Are you guys still coming down to Indy at the end of June???

I thought of you last night while I was watching the Star Wars Sith movie. It was premier night on HBO so I watched it in HDTV. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but I thought it was a very cool movie. Great special effects.

Good Morning Everybody,

We were out in the front doing yardwork and the girls were playing in the garage. They got into the car and were playing and the next thing I know they were poking their heads out of the sun roof....next they were sitting on the top of the car. After four repeated "get down now"s there was a large sound. Paul got there first to find Sierra still on top of the car- arm bloody. It appears that she was using the window to push herself up and pow. (punk) I'm so grateful that she is ok and we have survived the financial pain that occured. Now we just have to deal with teaching her what it means to be grounded.
