12/14/2008 4 Night Wonder

Ok ArmandXG, here goes. I've been searching the magnet boards and I hope I have the right link.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1930779

It is the second post of the thread Mickey Ear Pattern For Door. I just bumped it up so it should be on the 1st page of this cruise forum.

Betty:flower3:

They have some other cute stuff for the door, too.

Hi all,
I am looking forward to hearing that wonderful horn, Palo's brunch and sitting on Deck four with a drink in one hand and my Husbands hand in the other.:goodvibes
I asked my husband what his answer would be and he also said Deck four.

Betty: Thanks for the link AND the "boo". I can't seem to get it in the right spot, but I'll work on that later.:)

Has anyone seen the Disney Crocs?? Although I'm not a big fan of the Crocs, I am a bit interrested in the Disney sandal and the black and red fuzzy clogs. For those who haven't seen them, go to Crocs.com. I never knew Crocs made so many types of shoes.:confused3

And for anyone who's counting, there are 16 more cruises before it's our turn! We also have about six weeks left before people start doing the "Doc dance" :dance3:  :cool1: :cheer2: :yay:

Enjoy those drinks. :thumbsup2 Good thing you don't have to drive home .:woohoo: Have a couple on me . Try not to get:sick: I know who will miss you :cat: :cat: :earboy2:

i am currently booked for dec 11-18th at pop century, but took my first dcl cruise in august and have others booked in april 09 and 2010.

i was thinking of booking this 4 night, but it would increase my trip by about 900 dollars.

Question:

Has anyone ever done the land and sea cruise package before and if so, maybe you can answer this question: since they give you a 4 day hopper pass and the actual cruise package is only 3 days on land can I use the fourth day on the day I arrive since I booked an extra day pre-cruise package at the poly?
It seems like a waste!

thanks to anyone who can answer this question.

Yes you can. I was informed by my DU agent that the tickets are good for 14 days after 1st use. So we plan to use the last ticket for one of the 3 days we have after the cruise.:yay: :yay:

Betty:flower3:

We are doing the Land/Sea package also staying at the Polynesian before we sail. We are not going to use our passes until we get back and are going to add a 2 days to the 4 day passes that we get. We are going to explore Downtown Disney and possibly do Blizzard Beach while at the resort and whatever else that may be happening outside of the parks. Everything should be all decorated for Christmas, it's going to be beautiful.

We don't arrive until later in the afternoon on the 11th, the 12th is our daughter's birthday (character breakfast and luau scheduled) and Saturday afternoon, my sister arrives so we don't even have an opportunity for 1 full day at the parks before we cruise. So it made better sense for us to use all the passes afterwards.

We are getting so excited. I feel like I am at the last minute planning stage. We are 46 days out!:dance3: My sister is not going on the cruise with us. She will be staying at one of the resorts with her daughter. This is their first trip to Disney World. Now, I keep all my information in one big binder...she is a fanatic planner. She has plans that she will follow when she gets to the parks. I guess there is a lot of that being done and there are books about it. But she wants to feel like she is "getting all that she can" out of the time she will be there. I'm going to be a little more laid back about it. It's going to be crowded and I realize we are not going to be able to see everything at the parks.

Now, on the cruise...I want to see and do everything!:rotfl: Now, I didn't think I needed a book, but I'm going to Borders today to get the Passporter Cruise Book so I can have a plan to follow! :lmao:

This is going to be so much fun.:goodvibes

Linda

 I've got to double check my wardrobe, help my parents pack, shop for booze, snacks (mom has food allergies),laundry supplies, new make-up, reserve wheelchair, reserve hotel before cruise, make sure spouse has all his doo-dads packed, make sure I have all door magnets for my door and parents door, clean van, set up babysitter for the kitty-girls, pay all bills in advance:scared1: I'm sure I'm forgetting something...
I need more time!!! On second thought... I wouldn't want to push the cruise back any further, so I'd just throw a clean pair of underwear and a toothbrush in a bag and leave tomorrow in a dirty van and let everyone else fend for themselves:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Hey fellow cruisers. We still haven't decided what to do in Nassau.

I found a walking tour that looks pretty good for those who are up to a long walk. It says it takes about 2 hours to walk and hits on the some of the most popular sites. Check it out: http://www.frommers.com/destinations/newprovidence/0251010008.html

Just thought I'd pass it along. If it sounds like something you'd like to do but don't want to do it alone, let me know and perhaps we can go as a group or something.
