Just curious...is anyone planning to wear Christmasy attire on this cruise? I thought I might be able to recycle something from a previous holiday party! Tis the season!

I didn't think about that yet.

We are going to La Nouba on Christmas Eve and are doing a family picture for our Christmas cards on the cruise, so I guess we will have to bring our Christmas clothing with us since they won't magically appear! We are going to have to pay for the airline for an extra bag for sure.

My sister called earlier and told DH that she can now say that she is going to Disney World next month!

We can all say that we are cruising next month!

Almost finished Christmas shopping? You are my hero! The Christmas tv commercials have even started! It's making me panic and it's only November 2nd!

Hi there! My Mom and I (18) just booked our cabin on this cruise today! This will be our 10th cruise and we are very excited about going! Glad to hear so many people are going to be on board as well! We used to come here all the time to meet people who were cruising the same time as us! Just wanted to say hello!

Thanks! Yes it's very exciting to finally see the ship decorated for the holidays!! we usually cruise twice a yearboth in spring and then in summer, so this will definitely be new experience!

I think I've got most of our stuff packed for the trip, you know all the excess accessories that everyone packs and never uses. I know I will need to add an extra bag or two for our clothing, but here's what we have packed so far:

Alright , those aren't my bags but it sure feels like it might be close if I pack everything that is listed on some of those "you must bring" packing lists you find. This is actually a photo of a sculpture in the baggage area of the Sacramento International Airport. We will be seeing this sculpture when we return.

However, I am sure my DH will feel like he is lugging this much around

We were on the Magic the first week of December a couple of years ago. Castaway did indeed have snow. So did the atrium if I'm not mistaken

Well this thread has sure slowed down! Everyone must be busy planning Thanksgiving and then a CRUISE soon after. It's exciting to think about anyway. I'm going "home" for Thanksgiving (Pennsylvania) and come back to work for a week and then off again! Guess I should get to work!

Thanksgiving is over for me, (canada) Now all I have to concentrate on is Disney and Christmas
I got my Magical Express package in the mail today to take me to my land portion So exciting, cruise documents im sure are soon to follow!

I don't worry too much about Thanksgiving. I leave that to the rest of my family. They like to cook. I'm just doing some Christmas shopping , some cruise shopping, some cruise planning. . .

Thankfully, my sister agreed to do Thanksgiving this year. That's one major thing off my list. As for Christmas shopping, I just told everyone "plan on getting something DISNEY for Christmas. I have two other sisters that are doing a 7 day next year, so I thought I'd get them something from C.C.

In about 3 weeks, we should start doing the DOC dance These weeks are flying by!

We're staying at the Poly also but didn't get anything yet Everything will be going through the TA so I need to wait for her to contact me or I could bug her everyday.

Not me...I just like to get the docs so I can finally see what cabin we're in. Then I can look at the deck plans and day dream. I know--I'm a cruise dork.

Im starting to dance now
34 days away!
Im now looking at booking a room at the syracuse airport best western, Its almost the same price as parking for the week! Then I will have time to go to the cracker Barrel to begin my vacation, we dont have Craker Barrels in Canada and It makes it feel like a true vacation each time!

We are going to San Diego for a week to be with our oldest daughter and her family this Thanksgiving. Her husband was injured in Iraq last August and is recovering right now. Normally, they would travel to our house, but his mobility is limited and this will be a lot of fun for us. I don't think that we will be doing Disneyland while we are down there though. We are for sure going to the San Diego Zoo. My youngest girls haven't been there before. Mostly this is a visit rather than a vacation.

We will only have 11 days when we return before we leave for Florida

It can't get here soon enough...I am ready. (mentally at least)

My sibs took Mom out to get a new wardrobe for the trip. I'll be going over to help her pack. Now we just have to make sure Dad has something nice to wear.

I was talking to a friend yesterday and realized that we are in our winter gear here, so there is no reason I cannot prepack the summer clothing. I got quite a few things on summer clearance these past few months. Got DD a nice set of clothes for Palo brunch. I just don't know what I am going to wear.

Many years ago, we went to Florida in November. Of course, it was very cold here, so without a second thought, I packed winter clothing. Even though it rained several days we were there, it was way too warm for winter clothing. I had to go out and buy several outfits for the kids so they didn't wilt away So I am going to prepack their summer clothing today. Packing summer clothing will certainly make it easier to stay within baggage limits.
