12/12/10 Podcast cruise 2.0

Wow, very nice!
Is there a special registration or anything that I would need to do to be a part of the events?

I'm sure there will be. Once we are closer to the sail date and more details have been nailed down about the logistics with DCL, Tracy (Dreams Unlimited) will have a sign up sheet of some sort. Quite similar to the transfers that are being arranged.

But like Tracy said, the Podcast Cruise Official events are only open to those who book through Dreams Unlimited.

Ah - well, I guess that leaves me out :(

We just booked this cruise last week and I am looking forward to all the extra events we will get with the Podcast cruise. This will be our first DCL cruise, but not our first cruise. I am looking forward to seeing how the Disney cruises are different! I am already finding out about things like the door decorations and Fish extenders. They sound like so much fun.
Now to just make the next 200 days go by faster! :hourglass

Have you sailed on other cruise lines?

Yes, we have been on an 11 night Caribbean with RCCL and a 7 night Eastern Caribbean with Carnival.
We have yet to be on a DCL cruise though. Sounds like the Disney cruise will have some different options for us.

imho...Better service, better shows that aren't r-rated while stating they are family-friendly. No walking thru smoky casinos to go anywhere-esp to dinner. The only draw-back is $$. Couldn't afford DCL for a few years, so tried others instead.

I agree completely!
One of the conversations I've had regarding the $$ part is that since DCL doesn't do gambling, they just ask for what you're going to lose upfront :)
The logic seems to work...

I might join you if ours is "hurricaned" out. TVGuy just posted a thread saying that the "experts" are calling for a higher than normal hurricane season. If there is a danger, then I will rebook

I would not be too concerned about danger on the boat. Itineraries for ports might change a bit but DCL is very good about watching the weather.
But, if you do change - looking forward to seeing you! :)

Do we know current numbers? Correct me if I'm wrong but capacity is 2400?

I only know what our agency has booked, but based on what I'm finding available and that pricing has increased, that indicates it's getting pretty full. Capacity is up to 2700 depending who you ask ;)
