We have spent one night in Arkansas (my favorite aunt), one in Oklahoma (beautiful State Park there just west of OK City), two in Texas visiting my cousin and spoilin' his granddaughter rotten, and one in New Mexico since we left the group in Columbia, MO. Tonight we are in Winslow, Arizona.....but we are not standing on a corner, we are at a State Park. Tomorrow we will head over to the Grand Canyon area for a couple of days. Still deciding where we will stay. There is a train from Williams, AZ up to Grand Canyon and they have a package that includes an RV park. That is looking good, but I have to call in the morning and see if we can get reservations. Hopefully...

We are thinking of changing our plans just a tad.. ..windy, windy today and tomorrow in AZ. We do NOT like to drive this rig in the wind, so we are thinking of just staying here in Winslow and taking a day trip to Grand Canyon in the car. The wind will settle down Monday and then we can take the rig west. It is nice to be able to be flexible and do what the weather dictates.

Brandy, I'm not sure, lol. We have the same kind of thing over on Scrapmatters. I know in the new profiles we can leave messages for each other, that any visitor to the profile can see and comment on, I think that is how it works. This your new profile page, http://www.disboards.com/member.php?u=53854

The interesting thing would be the new group/membership element, looks like it is in testing right now. That could be a great place to organize cruise groups, it could be a place for the details that get lost in the chat of a meet thread. It would allow smaller break out groups for very large threads.

I just spent the night over there at Facebook. Still trying to get the hang of it. Sophia is at her aunt's for Spring Break.

Only one HS friend, and no college friends.

Those groups are going to be for non-planning topics so actually they could be used for the chatter on a meets thread that is not about actually planning, which is what some have been wanting.

Nope, Mike is but I am not interested in it. I am already in touch with the people I want to be in touch with. I'm not really interested in searching anyone out or having our info out there for just anyone.

I had a few kids try to friend me, but I don't accet their requests. I don't need that over my head!!! LOL

Wise move.

The "kids" who friended me are my brother's former students who are in college now and have really helped him with his illness. Just a few kids who spent a lot of time with our family when we were in distress and thought he would not survive. Several of them have now worked seasonal jobs that I hired them for. Nice kids all, but interesting to say the least to see their comments sometimes.
