The WB TA prices are great though! It was only 4964.92 after the 10% for the four of us. Of course we will be adding $2400 or so for airfare so that will even out but I am happy with the total for a 14 day cruise! We can only hope for discounts later too. I got this at 11:30 am ET.

I have done dummy airfare pricing from JFK on Air Lingus and it is 699/person to BCN from JFK via Dublin. Which if I do sofa surf, is the NYC airport easiest to connect with from BUF. So total airfare could be as little as $1000, which is a little savings over the $1400 I found on Kayak

I still think, both me, sofee, and the sofers need more time to think on it. But fingers are crossed for "mom and dad" that they get a cabin which ever way our decision goes.

Still waiting to hear from DU. I requested a quote for the 12/29 10 day also. I looked at DCL site though and that one looks like over 7 G for the two of us in a Cat 11! NOT! The WB might be doable at around 3 G. Not sure about adding in Paris and dealing with luggage within Europe.

I first did a search on kayak.com, not just great results. Iberian was way expensive. Air France, only when I win the lottery, lol. British Airways, still over 1200 for a single. Some on the thread talked about flying through Dublin, so I checked out Airlingus and they have flights that go from JFK to BCN (via DUB) and I mis-read it yesterday, the fare was either $516 for the earlier arrival or $560 for the later arrival in BCN. But you are heading over early and exploring , correct? I have been using dates in April or May '09 that match the day of the week I want to fly, should be similar to a September fare.

The searching has been fun, even if I don't end of flying,

If you are heading into Paris on the Sunday before, kayak.com is showing $436/person, but there is either a choice of 1.25 hr layover with plane change, or a 6 hr layover in Dublin, hmmm which to choose......

Yesterday kayak.com was showing me less then 10 airlines, today at least 20, will have to recheck my potential options.

Goodness! RIght now DCL is priced at 3492.80 for us out of NC. That is much better than I can do on my own right now. I know that we will add 200 to be able to choose our flights with DCL and the luggage restrictions. UGH!

What a bummer fares and such were for me. My April fares are still ridiculous. I am just not paying $1800 for airfare. I am also sitting with 3 free tickets that I can't use which is so sad. I feel like using them this month instead.

None of the dates I looked at to replace April 2009 worked which stunk. I am sitting with deposit issues since I booked on board with another cat 3. What the heck was I thinking?!

On the Mac note. Pj I think its the clothing Jobs wears. Even the other guy looked super skinny in his same black shirt/blue jeans gear and the fact that Jobs is already skinny - ugh. I saw he put up his BP on the screen. I have seen 1/2 of the event - how they make the aluminum was interesting. How Ives pronounced the word was particularly interesting. So do I care that there is no firewire on the MacBook? I want to see the touchpad in practice. I wouldn't say yucko if Santa put it under my tree. While I also like the features in the MacBook Pro - its just too big for me. I prefer the 13 inch size.
