John - I sent out a personalized letter inviting each of the school board members to the show. They were all over our HS Band director because of falling numbers. Honestly, a lot of that was other circumstances. Anyway, I wanted them to see that the Music program at our school is alive and well. I hope to see several of them at the show.

My chorus students all give up one recess a rotation and one activity period a rotation. It is a decision they make....but it is so worth it!

I am so sad to be home. The trip was fantasic! I will leave the trip report to our better writers but will answer any questions I can help with.

Lisa and other EBs, I have a full set of menus and most of the navigators, will figure out a way to get those scanned soon.

Brandi, hope the concert was great.

Lisa, how much fun is Kaitlyn having with the horseback riding?

Brack love the new dog collar, lol.

Carla, great call on the camp horseback riding, it is never enough time on the horses while there.

Thanks so much for the info you brought back. Do you guys have pictures of the repo cruise stuff...tshirts, mugs, pins, etc?

Kaitlyn is loving horseback riding! It rained yesterday so they spent 2 1/2 hours in the barn grooming horses, scooping poop and learning more about what things are called. She saddled a pony on her own! I guess if the poop doesn't chase her away nothing will

So...when is the next geek cruise. I missed out on switching the dummy 12/08 date before the fuel charge increase but oh well. It will be so worth it!!!

Anything that you thought we might really enjoy on the ship or in port. Do tell and post pictures...LOTS OF PICTURES!!!! Any of the kids in the dance thing they did? It sounds like it was so cute.

I didn't take pictures of the stuff, but do have the ladies t-shirt, a ladies zip sweater, the actual crossing day t-shirt, a couple of postcards, and the 8 main pins (I will take pictures of those). There was also a frame, a pull over sweater, a mug, a shot glass, luggage tags, kids shirts and shirts with the heavy embroidery, I am sure that will be covered by one of the 100+ Disers that sailed.

Right now several geeks have done a dummy date of December 5/09 I don't know if there will be a fuel fee if we change. I know that John1 will have to change it to another date, I think most of us are looking at early 2010 sometime.

I was not impressed with the merchandise all that much. John got a t-shirt though. I should have gotten the hat and towel but kept putting it off. I think I have all the menu's but night 1.
I miss it already.

V, I might do a cruise with DM on DVC points. We should have enough for a 7 day in a cat 8 or a 4 day in a Cat 6.

I know that the Jan 09 cruise that had been mentioned would be too soon for us but a late 08 would be nice. Honestly the date doesn't matter as long as we are on the ship with our friends again.

When you change your date, you will have the new fuel surcharge added to your resie.

Also...did they expect you to take all the menus? LOL! I just am wondering how you went about explaining not turning them back in to the servers.

I asked for them the first night and then Pema (who was very good) made sure I got one each night. On Pan Can night that the menu had the date on it and it was meant to be kept.

I don't think we'll have enough saved up to put down a deposit while we're on our cruise in December, but I would think we'll be aiming for something in 2010... perhaps on the new ship?

I can't wait to hear more details about the trip... who's doing a trip report?
