Okay, we finally have rain..and plenty of it. We're on a flood watch with our front porch already flooded... We may catch up on our annual rain amount with this one storm.

Went to DL and DCA on Saturday. It was a zoo. There was a cheerleading competition going on at DCA and they are running a So Cal special tix--2parks for the price of one. There was an hour wait for TOT which there has never been. We waited 45 minutes for a bread bowl (still worth the wait). 85 minutes for Soarin. No FastPasses available anywhere.......

It was still a great day. I am not one to really care about lines too much. I have a few colorful stories about our dinner at the bar in the ESPN Zone,but really don't want to share them on a kid friendly site.....ask me on the cruise.

Ok, Jordan, we will be down there in a couple of weeks and I do NOT want rain!! only! We will remember to ask about the ESPN dinner when the band kids are not around!

Speaking of band kids, I saw a bunch of them tonight when I picked DGS up from practice and we were jumping up and down saying WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!! Maybe I better behave at least until we are on the plane so I don't get de-chaparoned. Some of these kids have never been so it is exciting to see it through their eyes. The savvy ones say they are hanging with us so they will not miss all the good stuff.

Buzzboymom- Thanks for hogging all the sun for yourself and giving us so much rain this morning.
If I was smart enough to have a ticker it would say 272 tell we leave home, and 273 twll we fly out to Disney so close but yet so far.

That meet at JR sounds like alot of fun. We wont be able to go with the kids though.

ahhh but there are many teenage girls in our groups...my dd included, who would make perfect babysitters and I plan to get a studio just upstairs in the BWV...... (just a thought)

Hi everyone,I know I have not posted in a while. The baby is 8 weeks old tomorrow and things have been crazy around here. I want to post more often. I tried to catch up on what you all posted but wow there has been alot! I am glad you are chatty....so am I. My name is Brandi by the way. I sent a PM to Lisa so I should be added to the list. Today we got a post card from Mickey. It had a local post mark and the address was in my TA's handwritting. We were still so excited! My son wanted it hung on his wall so it is posted right with Thomas the Tank Engine!!! It is so nice to meet all of you. I look forward to really getting to know everyone.
