Welcome jordanyosh! I noticed you're located in Orange County! We moved to the Temecula Valley from Orange County. I went to high school and college in Irvine and we lived in the southern O.C. area until 5 years ago!

Sounds like it's going to be a fun group!

Lisa

Jordan,

We're not tired of you . . .

Let's just say you've become familiar.

Remember, you owe me a beer!

When the '06 football schedule comes out, we can decide what game we want to watch in Diversions on Sunday, and it's your turn to buy! :earboy2:

It has been so dog gone cold here since we got back that the afterglow has faded and it seems almost like a dream that never happened.

Amy asked me if I am now going to be posting constantly for a full year!

Let's see who gets #650 and #700.

OH NO! Here we go again! LOL! Keep the same dates, Jordon & Wendy!!! :) We will be neighbors this time since we have booked #7007. That is a great area. John & his family are just around the corner in 7512 or 7514.

It looks like we are going to have no problem hitting 3000 this time. :) Has anyone caught up with the laundry yet? :(

Laundry is a dirty word around here . . . :earboy2:

Believe it or not, we did 90% of our vacation laundry before leaving OKW.

But, DS came home from college, and dumped his laundry, and between getting back to work and school, we have had no time for laundry or even getting to the grocery store (and I work in one)!

Company coming for Christmas and we have a lot to do.

John

I am hoping to keep the same dates, but we'll see. Lisa, that's cool that we'll be neighbors. I did all my laundry in one day, but you know just for one person...not so bad.

John, I know what Amy means. I was gonna take a hiatus from the boards, but looks like that's not gonna happen. :teeth:

IDK how you got all of that laundry done at OKW! I could barely keep my eyes open after getting back from the parks. One more load is ready to fold, then I'll throw the next for half a cycle in the dryer before getting some sleep.

JORDAN!! We are so happy to hear your Uncle and Aunt will be back with you too. We enjoyed talking with them (well, Dennis and your Uncle did most of the talking :teeth: ) so much. We are booked on the 6th deck this trip.

Lisa,
We used to live in Irvine right off Jeffry. My wife went to UC Irvine and I worked at Disneyland!!!! Where did you guys live? It is a small world.....
Mark

I'm working on laundry tonight also. Our luggage was finally located and delivered yesterday. I had to bake an apple pie for a work luncheon last night so did not get started until tonight. MMMMMM. The pie was gooooooood! :earboy2:

It is a small world! We found that Jordan was high school friends with the older sister of our DD's high school boyfriend. We lived in OC for many years also.

John, I know what you mean about it seeming like a dream. My world has stopped rocking and I am already sick of this cold rain! :umbrella:

No more pie or cookies I'm getting to plump around the waist line!!!! :rotfl2:
My waist line is definately out there where I can keep an eye on it now thanks to all the GOOD food on the cruise. Of course the pies and cookies before the cruise helped some too! :rotfl:

Mark-I used to live off of Jeffery too, in an area called University Park!! I went to University H.S. and then UC Irvine. I liked Irvine so much (that was the running joke with my friends...would I ever leave) that I worked for an aerospace company off of Jamboree for 12 years. Now I'm a Domestic Engineer (my fancy alter title for "stay at home mom"). My mom still lives in Irvine, in Westpark. DH (Mark also) and I lived in Aliso Viejo, then Foothill Ranch and then moved to Murrieta. DH grew up in Anaheim and worked at the Disneyland Hotel! We have friends that live in Danville (although we've never been there). Small world is right........

That's cool that a lot of you know each other from this December cruise...hope you won't mind us newbies joining the group!!!!

I went to UC Irvine as well. I was an RA in Mesa Court for 2 years--Lago and Mariposa which is no longer in existence. I also worked at Disneyland a few different times.

Mark--I have friends that live in Danville.

Jordan-That is so funny....I TOTALLY remember Mesa Court! I was really involved while a student there, my deepest involvement was being VP of Academic Services for ASUCI and I also worked at CompuTrends, the on campus computer store (I think it's still there). Much has changed at UCI, hasn't it!?! I graduated in '88 and am amazed at how much has changed...I really don't recognize much of it anymore. I met someone the other day who was from the first graduating class at UCI!

Hi Everyone. I'm gonna be out and about and probably not near a computer for the next few days so I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

ps - its so much fun to hear you all banter about the last cruise and to know you're going back next year must be so exciting. The rest of us will just live thru your details.....but the laundry detail is one that I don't envy!

Take care all and safe travels if you are going to be on the roads!

Hugs!!!
:grouphug: :grouphug:

laundry - I've been working on it but there are still two bags that haven't even been opened yet!

Jordon, it looks like you will be having lots of company while waiting for this cruise while us east coast DISers are sleeping. :)

Put two big bows around them and put them under the tree!!! See if anyone notices. Then tell them if they want the bag - they have to take everything related with the bag. Kinda like that new show "Deal or no Deal".... At the very least, it would delay your inevitable job for a little while longer.
