I'm sure John already posted this but the school that Sophia goes to gets recess after lunch and PE twice a week. The school system also just received the highest rating by the state based on testing. So schools can do both they just have to work at it!

Today I found out that our county will start implementing a new program next week. They will now have a curriculum for recess. The kids will NOT be allowed to do what they want to do, even if they need some down time. Kids just don't get to be kids anymore.

The shuttle is nice but you are at the mercy of their schedule. This time we are driving so we can be there early.

We prefer driving ourselves...especially when it is time to leave. The porters load up your car & you are on your way.

FINALLY!!!! What a couple of days! I am totally wiped out. IDK if I will make it to chat tonight. I really need to get extra sleep to catch up. Last night wasn't good because DD kept snoring in my ear. OY! I put her back in her bed only to wake up to her next to me again....maybe I dreamed actually getting up to put her in her bed? DH was home today so I only worked at the school on carnival stuff for four hours. Now DD sounds like a seal when she talks. The temp today got into the 80s. This messed up weather is hitting everyone.

Good grief!!! They wont let me sit & do anything for more than a minute. UGH! Mommy this! Mommy that! I have to run again.

We will miss you in chat but we understand if you need to get some extra sleep. Don't worry about us - chat will be fine without you.

Her eyes look better but she still needs the drops. I am wondering if she is going to get sick on us now. She wanted to go to bed at 6 this evening and that is after she took a 3 1/2 hour nap today.

DH did not follow the plan. He claims he never saw my post.
