thank you!! My FIL took that pic of the boys and it was just perfect for the theme. he's really good about giving me copies of pictures.. much better than I am about giving them out in a timely fashion.

This is dh's absolute favorite show, the only network tv show the boys get to watch other than sports. LOVE IT! I cry every single time. It was fun that the family went on DCL this week... but they were on the wonder so it was either 3 or 4 nights. I didn't see where they mentioned what the family did the rest of the time? Stayed wherever the Tim McGraw concert was I guess?

At one point it looked like they were at BeachClub Villas. They were walking outside and the white fencing and trellis reminder me of Beach Club. I bet they stayed on property somewhere.

PJ, dh and I will have either 1 or two laptops on board. Is there a printer/business center type thing on board? Maybe I could edit the room listing to reflect any changes, print it in B/W on board and add that as an insert in your newsletter. I bet Lisa could get the guest services office to print something for us as a last resort!

Speaking of your newsletter -- LOVE it. I need to hire you to do one for my business!

I think everyone is cleared out of the house for a bit. DrHug took 2 DGKs shopping for cd players. Other DGS is at work. I'm gonna go try out one of the apple dumpling recipes.

I realized I only represent DH as this person who thinks this side of me is nuts. He is actually such a sweetheart. He just brought up a lemon square for me. He just made them this evening. He cooks by the way. I do not. Well I could but he's better at it and he actually LIKES it.

I remember when DH would cook for us on his days off...doesn't happen so much any more, cooking AND days off. Although I think he was trying to kill us with all the butter he uses!

Uhm - did I tell you guys I uhm forgot my anniversary. Someone I work with (many actually) said "You are such a guy". Now I'm not sure that is a compliment but I did send an email - remember I was in a conference and had to be there at 7:30 so I had to leave my house super early. I got a lovely card for him as well. I am a great card shopper - love them. Anyway I am of the belief that I would prefer to be treated well the other 364 days that are not our anniversary. That sounds like a cop out but I honestly do believe that - he knows it so I was covered okay okay - I am such a stereotypical guy

Last January we BOTH forgot!! Sad I know, but no one could complain!! It really isn't that big of a deal for us though. I loke your philosophy Carla!

It is 7:47 and DD has been sleeping on the couch for a while and DS is upstairs reading a book yawning away. Today was a little better. DD was a little testy in Church and didn't like the cheese crackers that I brought for some reason. OY!!! The kids got along pretty well today too. DD only messed with DS a couple times...which is a great improvement for her! I took out all of the winter clothes for DD and went thru them getting rid of the ones that are too small. I also went thru the summer ones so there are several piles in the hallway that need to be boxed up & dropped off to get them out of the house. I am about half way thru taking the summer stuff down & putting the winter stuff up....but I did clear everything so that I can put DD to bed.

I used to do this every year. Now I just keep them all out throughout the year. I still have to go through them as the seasons change, but it keeps the boxes in the attic to a minimum.

You really should come out of the DIS closet. It is only going to get worse the closer we get and at some point you are going to have to explain all of these strange people that know so much about you.

My DH doesn't cook much but he does 95% of the grilling, and since we are low-carbing right now, we're doing alot of grilling (so I have not cooked as much lately...). I haven't baked anything since this diet started, so as to avoid temptation. There really are very little low-carb baked sweets available....

Amazing Race is late here because of football for the 3rd week in a row! I just hate that!!!!

It is late for you also?? I wouldn't think so because you are a few hours behind right?? Or are you central?

I was so happy when I saw it would be on at 8 so I wouldn't have to tape it for the kids and they could just stay up and watch it. But when it doesn't start til 8:30, it is pushing it!

We started out today in Louisville, KY and drove up through Cinncinati & Columbus, OH, Wheeling, WV, Washington, PA down the PA Turnpike then down to Hagerstown, MD on to home. We tried to wave in each town to our DISFriends.
