I am just so glad to be back. Our Internet went out AGAIN! It is getting really bad and I need my fix. Our library is not open on Sundays and I was thinking I might have to go into work if it does not come back soon. We are all so pathetic!

Now THAT is bad!! Going into work on your day off to DIS on their computers!!

When John mentioned Dis'ng in different places I was driving this morning wondering whether church had wifi.

DrHug was DISing as we were driving up I-5 yesterday. He was able to get on the board on his cell phone, but it was very, very slow. He could read some posts and tried twice to reply. Both times when he would get it almost ready to submit he would loose connection. He was I was Oh, and I was doing the driving. He was not DISing WHILE driving!

Oh, if I am able to snag an upgrade EVERYONE in the terminal will know it!!

Lisa, when do you think you will have a final count? I am trying to figure out how many bracelets to order. I think I need 2 weeks before we leave to order. Will DCL discount upgrades at this point? I am just curious, thinking about calling & checking in.

They won't discount upgrades until you are actually at the port. Calling even the day before, they will quote you the going rate as a new trip. We are, of course, all hoping for free upgrades , and some thinking of upgrading at the port at a significant discount.

DCL wont discount upgrades until the day of boarding. I will be sending out a check in email at the 30 day mark giving people a couple days to respond. Those who haven't posted and don't respond to my email will be taken off the manifest. People will be logging in here up until the week before the cruise. Last year it was insane. One family had 5 rooms. They ended up not even participating. I am thinking that I will stop adding people to the group 2 weeks before we cruise? I mean at some point a newbie just can't jump in & wing it while participating in everything...KWIM?

This is funny! I let DrHug do his own packing for a trip once. We wound up at Walmart in Washington State buying new jeans, pants and unties for him.

I will say this. Right before we left for our last cruise there were at least 50 empty rooms if I recall correctly (say about a week prior). I got to the check in line by, say 11, and they said there were no upgrades. I don't think they make all the rooms available. KWIM?
