I do have a PSA for everyone after reading on the main board that someone who leaves in 4 days cannot find her DH's birth certificate.

Everyone this week should make sure they have all of their birth certificates and/or passports. I would hate to see anyone in our group left behind because they misplaced their identification. I plan on going to our safe deposit box tomorrow just to verify.

Good idea. I had a hard time finding mine when I started looking the night before our Bermuda cruise...

I do have to go and get a passport picture so I can renew it. I have a lot of things that I should be doing tomorrow. Everyone else already has a valid passport. Guess I should round them up though.

We just got our PP a few weeks ago and I did check at that time to make sure I still have my copy of Aaron's. I ordered my own copy, his parents can keep track of their copy!

DCL wont discount upgrades until the day of boarding. I will be sending out a check in email at the 30 day mark giving people a couple days to respond. Those who haven't posted and don't respond to my email will be taken off the manifest. People will be logging in here up until the week before the cruise. Last year it was insane. One family had 5 rooms. They ended up not even participating. I am thinking that I will stop adding people to the group 2 weeks before we cruise? I mean at some point a newbie just can't jump in & wing it while participating in everything...KWIM?

Do you mean that people show up on the thread just days before the cruise and will want to participate?

This is funny! I let DrHug do his own packing for a trip once. We wound up at Walmart in Washington State buying new jeans, pants and unties for him.

That is one thing DH does do for himself. Packing!! But he is very good at it and you wouldn't believe what he can fit into a suitcase!!

Now the unpacking is a different story.
