No wonder it wasn't popular here.87Heel said:Wait! You only have to hit 2 other houses once you've been hit! And include a drawing of a ghost to post on your door/in your window to show that you've been BOOed already!
Our Target has BOOing kits for $4 (enough candy, instructions and ghosts to boo 2 houses) made by Hershey's and M&M/Mars.
Your pumpkins look fine to me. They are still jumping.lillygator said:and what is going on with my jumping pumpkins?
You make up a bag with candy or other prizes. You put a not on it that they have been booed and that they must pass the boo on within 24 hours. They are also given a sign to hang in their window so that others know they have been booed. Then you pass it on to your neighbor. It is fun. You can tell who was booed because they have the sign in their window.waltsgirl said:We must not do it since I have no idea what you guys are talking about!
We were each only booing 1 house...I think it all depends on who starts it.87Heel said:Wait! You only have to hit 2 other houses once you've been hit! And include a drawing of a ghost to post on your door/in your window to show that you've been BOOed already!

Anyway I spent 1 1/2 hours at the 24hr CVS because I had a Rx for Levaquin - which BCBS doesn't cover and it would have been $159+ out of pocket so they needed to talk to doc but they waited to call (of course I am waiting there mind you). So long and short BCBS requests Avelox vs. Levaquin. I had no internet so I couldn't even look up the clinical studies so I had to take their word for it and frankly I was ready to shell out whatever (just charge it) because I felt like crap and wanted to just GO HOME!
So now I have the Avelox and Advair. Fortunately I got the Advair via a sample - wonder whether BCBS would charge 100+ for that as well. It's just too expensive. I thank my lucky stars I have a PPO insurance as thousands are shelled out in premiums and I still pay a ridiculous amount out of pocket. $1000 in flexible spending account is nothing with allergy meds. patnol freakin eye drops cost $45 bucks for this teeny tiny bottle.. Yeah can we say use sparingly.I had to go through all of this crap to get Zyrtec covered previously once Claritin went over the counter as well (Claritin, Allegra etc etc before wow they'd cover it because nothing else was working).
Okay rant over. 'Night
Thank you, Brandi! I got a couple off the internet, but a "tried and true" one would be great!klineyqueen said:My mom has a great recipe. Everyone in my family loves them. I will have to get if from her. Yes...dough, apple, cinnamon....usually topped with ice cream or milk. I will ask her for it today.
We will try to make the CC reception. We don't usually stay long, but we have a couple of free drinks and will get a fancy drink free for Aaron. Eat a few bites - we have always found the food tasty - greet and get a photo with the Captain and be on our way.lillygator said:has anyone read any of the Sept cruise trip reports? Lots of issues I think, I wonder what this transition period is they are talking about?
I hope we have decent servers this year. Last year they were horrible. And I am pretty easy going - but refills are a must.
Is everyone planning on attending the CC reception? After the things I have read we may skip it. Last year it was really crowded and I am not sure we got that much out of it. John, Haley and I sat at a table and that was about it. We had fun trying to figure out what the ice sculpture was though.
I guess they have been trying out new style receptions that are soda, coffee, etc (no alcoholic drinks) and snacks. I think I read they have tried it 3 times so far. We may swing by, but depending on the date and time there may be something else that's a not miss!!MrsMork said:We will try to make the CC reception.
