I still haven't found mine. Bummer on missing the deeper discount. The sad thing about losing my receipt is I know I thought "let me put it some place safe so that I don't lose it"

One rant before I go to bed. I am SO tired of pneumonia (sort of a pun I suppose). Anyway I spent 1 1/2 hours at the 24hr CVS because I had a Rx for Levaquin - which BCBS doesn't cover and it would have been $159+ out of pocket so they needed to talk to doc but they waited to call (of course I am waiting there mind you). So long and short BCBS requests Avelox vs. Levaquin. I had no internet so I couldn't even look up the clinical studies so I had to take their word for it and frankly I was ready to shell out whatever (just charge it) because I felt like crap and wanted to just GO HOME!

So now I have the Avelox and Advair. Fortunately I got the Advair via a sample - wonder whether BCBS would charge 100+ for that as well. It's just too expensive. I thank my lucky stars I have a PPO insurance as thousands are shelled out in premiums and I still pay a ridiculous amount out of pocket. $1000 in flexible spending account is nothing with allergy meds. patnol freakin eye drops cost $45 bucks for this teeny tiny bottle.. Yeah can we say use sparingly. I had to go through all of this crap to get Zyrtec covered previously once Claritin went over the counter as well (Claritin, Allegra etc etc before wow they'd cover it because nothing else was working).

I found a couple of apple dumpling recipes. One is with a whole apple, cored and pealed. The other is with apple slices. Both look yummy! I will surpise him with it next weekend. I think he won't be reading this as he is working all week and doesn't usually have time to catch up daily like some people we know!

I'm sure it will be delicious with you making it for him! Just don't forget the ice cream!!

Lisa - I am pretty sure I saw that necklace that Todd posted on the Claire's website - and it was much less. They should have it in the stores - I don't think they do mail order.

WDW had a lot of boys and girls pirate jewelry but it was ridiculously expensive I thought. $14.95 for the cheapest necklace.

We bought some things at Hot Topic. I felt kind of silly being in there but the kids had fun looking at everything.

I think the haunted pumpkin started with me. Originally I could see them. Then it started disappearing (only got the question mark box) from some people but not others. Links all look the same. After I boo'd a DISer I thought I messed it up, but she could still see them.

Anyone "Boo" in their neighborhood? We've been doing it for a few years. Someone started it on Saturday night here. We were the first "victims."

I need to figure out how to make those apple dumplings for DrHug. Is it like a rolled dough wrapped around a baked apple?

My mom has a great recipe. Everyone in my family loves them. I will have to get if from her. Yes...dough, apple, cinnamon....usually topped with ice cream or milk. I will ask her for it today.

We were Booed a couple of years ago but not since. Our neighborhood is pretty quiet when it comes to kids games.
