Aaron said that the computer was down yesterday. He said that when it was finally running he got to it first!!!!

It's been a hectic day. I was on my way to Frederick this afternoon but the Beltway was stopped so I came home instead. I hate traffic.

Going to Annapolis tomorrow and by Friday I'll be in Paducah, KY.

We will try to make the CC reception. We don't usually stay long, but we have a couple of free drinks and will get a fancy drink free for Aaron. Eat a few bites - we have always found the food tasty - greet and get a photo with the Captain and be on our way.

Our last server was a bit "stuffy" at first, but when he realized that our whole table was there to have fun he relaxed. I think they have to figure out what the guest is looking for in service, "formal" or "fun". He and his asst did a good job in taking care of our needs.

Hmmmmm...looks like Lisa may need to speak with her people again to make sure the servers know we are FUN and COOL !!! Plus their actions will be reported thoroughly on the boards!!

I got library duty at DD's school this morning. I love volunteering in the library. I don't know most of the children in her class this year and checking their books in and out and helping at that time is the best way to meet them. It's a bummer that you don't get to be in the classroom a lot in 1st grade, but I'll take what I can get in any manner 'cause the kids are so neat.

I think we will try to make it to the CC reception. If it does not "meet our expectations", I will include comments on my survey at the end of the cruise. This is supposed to be a thank you to us who continue to choose DCL. Since DCL does not offer free upgrades or other incentives to repeat cruisers, I think this was a nice way to say thank you. However, if they lower their standard of thanking us, I will let them know.

Something else they need to be warned about???

Time flies....I did more laundry and paid some bills...now I have clean clothing but can't afford to go anywhere!!!!

It is almost time to get DS from Preschool. I don't want to pull a Caroline
