Gosh....ever since Date Night...you just keep wanting to be with that DH. He's getting in the way of Dis-bonding!!!

What can I say....I like being around my DH!

and Desperate Housewives is so not meeting my expectations this year. I wish Six Feet Under were still on and SATC.
What happened to all the juicy stuff? Was it too much for regular TV?

I agree. DH is not very exciting this season.

We all have passports. Had to get DS10's renewed a few months ago. Decided to do it early and man, am I glad I did. For whatever reason, it took forever to get back!

Hate Chuck E Cheese. That rat scares me. Almost as bad as math!

We had the best time there that I have ever had at Chuck E Cheese. We arrived at 10 AM and ordered our Pizza for 11:15. We were literally the only people there. The next family came in when we were eating!!!!! Our kids had the entire place to themselves! They had a blast running around and playing.

We should definitely see Santa Claus 3, maybe Cars will be on, too.


They do have that phone # you can call ahead of time and find out what's scheduled.

I went to the gym for lunch and wow is it nice out!! I miss my w/o buddy, the time goes much quicker when you have someone to gab with. Had to watch the view...man I've read Rosie took it over and she really has....

And I have not watched it since!

I have a question... if you're called to jury duty when you have a vacation scheduled will they excuse you? I've never had to deal with this type of situation.

they will here. In our county you are called for a 3 month period. At the orientation day you give them dates you are not available. If you are not available most of that time (i.e. surgery scheduled or something) then they would not excuse you, but would delay it to the next 3 month period. By the way, I was just on a jury and I will not do it again. I will say whatever it takes to get out of the jury box.

I was going to go to the bank over lunch to check on the passports and then last night I remembered that I didn't think I had taken them back after our last cruise. I went to my planning folder and there they were. DH was MAD at me! However, at least I now know for sure where they are!

This is funny! I let DrHug do his own packing for a trip once. We wound up at Walmart in Washington State buying new jeans, pants and unties for him.

This is SO my DH! Every now and then before a trip, he'll decide he wants to take back control of HIS packing.


I then spend the trip answering "no dear, I didn't bring ______ or ______. You wanted to do your OWN packing, remember?!"

I had the perfect 15th anniversary ring/mom ring planned when I was pregnant with DS. My first two kids are September and April (sapphire and diamond). DS was due Sept 10, so another sapphire. Beautiful 3-stone ring, right. Both girls were late, induced, and the due date of the 10th for the third should have been a safe bet, right? Count on the boy to mess up MY plan. Walt chose to be born at 9:30 pm on Aug 31, so no sapphire for him. (And sorry, I don't like the August peridot birthstone!)

I totally understand. I always wanted a gorgeous family ring -- sapphire, emerald... I got THREE orange topaz and one diamond. No thanks!

That's how it used to be at our church. Then the Pastor we loved left for another church. We just got a new one and (sorry God), he's a bit too "glib" for my tastes.

I probably just lost my corner suite in Heaven, didn't I?

Oh I don't think so. I've never read that being honest about a pastor's ability would affect which suite you get.

I will say this. Right before we left for our last cruise there were at least 50 empty rooms if I recall correctly (say about a week prior). I got to the check in line by, say 11, and they said there were no upgrades. I don't think they make all the rooms available. KWIM?

I've always wondered about this, too.

In March, there were lots of rooms available before we went......no upgrades at the port and we were one of the first ones in the terminal that morning.

I understand where you are coming from! The pastor prior to the one we have now was so boring it pained me to get through a service! We are very fortunate...we all love our pastor!
