I guess I can get to my day...

I spent most of the afternoon calling places for tire prices. How frustrating since everyone has different tires so I couldn't compare apples to apples.
I decided it would be easier to just get them from Sears since it was right at the mall. The girls got done piano at 4:30 so we didn't leave until after 5 for the mall. Got there around 6. Went to Sears and picked out tires. Walked over to Olive Garden to eat. Went back to Sears to pick up the van. Told DH to drive it to the front of the mall and to meet us back in Sears where we would be looking at clothes. Found some Land's End on major clearance. DDs drove me nuts! Almost left them there. DH didn't get my directions. Found him about an hour later, after the girls had driven me crazy in Sears. Found some LE water shoes for $5. Drove home. Realized it was Thursday and I missed my shows!!! Caught up here.

As you can see, trips to the mall never come to much since there is always a meal to be had to take a chunck of our time. Never got to the Disney store. Heck, we didn't get to anywhere except for Sears!!

Maybe there is really only us on the ship!

We got to watch the last half of that game. How fun. They have a couple of running backs that were fun to watch!

DD 7 really has it made for piano class. The teacher drives her to her house from school and they have about an hour for a half hour lesson. They have a snack before they start. Then she gets to go and feed their horse when DD12 has her lesson. She is so spoiled by those who just don't know her very well...

Well DH is wanting to "hold me" while he goes to sleep so I guess I should get to bed. He is promising to behave....should I believe him?

OMG! I almost forgot! I was looking at getting Elton John tickets when they went on sale. He will be in AC this weekend. I had decided I would use the money to take the girls to a NY show some time instead. Well, their piano teacher has FRONT ROW SEATS for tomorrow!! And she is taking DD12's band teacher!! I am soooo jealous! And they were comped to her from the casino! Then she tells me she also has a comp ticket to see Barbara Steisand in November!! Maybe I should take up gambling.

DD is desperately trying to qualify on our local radio station for Elton John tickets in Las Vegas. These are for 3rd row tickets and a chance to go on stage for one song. Maybe THAT would get me on a plane.

I noticed that too Brandi, I think we surely scared her off. And I don't blame her!!

I don't know, it seemed she was fitting in just fine! She will be back. Maybe she has a life outside the DIS.

I do not blame you one little bit! I drive to Philly to save a hundred per ticket....that is more than an hour futher than my "close" airports!

We are flying home thru Philadelphia. We have a 12:20 pm flight on United. Wonder if there will be other geeks on our flight.

Whew! I'm there! But I had no time tonight to finish squishing the grapes. I will have to get that done first thing in the morning. Well, first thing right after I catch up on the DIS.

Todd - I am sure hubby will love to talk to you about remote control. he has not gotten into this as of yet. we would need a 3 car garage if so. I was wondering how you had enough garage space to house a plane? even remote control - that's a good size wing span.

Well since we now only have 2 cars in a 3 1/2 car garage I got plenty of room ...Plus the ceiling is a good place too .....
