Have you all noticed how much the posting slows down about the dinner hours? I imagine we are a group that likes our meals.

We are eating a bit late this evening so I am hanging out while the homemade french fries and burgers are cooking.

Sophia leaves tomorrow to visit Williamsburg and her Aunt there. She is so excited that she has already packed her wheeled Barbie suitcase with all the toys she is taking. She also has a seatback holder for all her essential stuff on the ride down.

Amy also made me pick up $25 worth of snacks for her and my SIL and MIL for the trip down. About the only healthy thing they told me to buy is grapes. It will be a Junk food Junket.

My DH would not dream of doing laundry on the ship. we have only been on a 3 & 4 night so I am not sure if I will need to do any laundry or not. we go to the BCV after the cruise. We will have a washer/dryer in the unit. I am sure we will do some there but I am not sure how much. I still am not sure if I need to pack differently for the cruise as opposed to WDW. I hope I don't need to but haven't really gotten that far in planning yet.

We will be back at OKW when we return. One of the reasons we like OKW - full size washer and dryer!

Do any of you guys ever try to do laundry on the ship (we try not to). The laundry rooms can be like trying to break into an enemy bunker. The most I try to do is iron, and lately we send our clothes to be pressed on the ship instead of fighting over the one of the few ironing boards.

Anyway, I was really wondering how much purple Downy will now be on the ship, or purple Tide with purple Downy in it.

I always said that I "NEVER" would do laundry on vacation. That all ended the Christmas in Disney when my DS and DH could not stop vomiting...I literally did 10 loads that week!!!!! We will be gone for 13 days so we will do some laundry. I will do a load at the hotel on Fri. night. I will do my next load on Sat. after we get off of the boat! I will not(unless there is a disaster) do any on the boat!

I directed choir tonight. Guess who had a mysterious sore throat and could not make it....you guess it...the current SS president. I knew this would be ugly...but I really thought she would try to be "big" about this...KWIM. She has been the president for over 10 years. I thought about calling her....but I have done nothing "wrong."

I'll bet you can expect her to lay out for a week or so. But, hopefully she will loosen up in a couple of weeks. Just keep smiling and be super sweet.

That sounds more like a sovereignty...not a SS board. Why don't they put limits on the terms?

We met in 1980 at high school, sophmores, I asked him to a sadie hawkins dance and split before he could answer.

Engaged in 1984 at college--he was working two jobs and going to school full time. Me, I had a free ride--my father was a prof at the college and we got free tuition so longs as we lived at home

Married in 1988--both of us were working but neither could get time off. our honeymoon was a two night in a downtown hotel

Dec 1988--I worked for a travel agency--we took a long weekend to disney world and I was sold.

Sept 1989--bought our first and current house.

Dec 1989--my father had a heart attack and we decided to speed up our timetable on having kids.

Aug 1991--DD was born. I wasn't due for a few more weeks but was tired of being pregnant so I mowed the lawn. Next day Christa was born

June 1995--DS was born. Once again I decided I had been pregnant long enough and mowed the lawn. I went into labor on June 23rd. My only demand was that DS be born before midnight. June 24th is my birthday--he needs to have his own.

May have said this before, but after your post Missy I am repeating . . .

My dad and brother's birthday is June 24th! My dad was also a twin, so we had three birthdays on the 24th.

My son was born on June 15th - my birthday - he had no trouble having a day of his own. I just lost mine!

Our first cruise was in the middle of a three week vacation. 5 days at SIL/BIL's. 3 days at WDW. 7 day cruise. week at ILs for wedding that was cut short.

Pretty bad when you are just catching up & don't know that you got one until you read it.

1)Actively listen to music 45 (or more) hours each week.
2)Christian, Classic Rock, Country, Children's music, Classical, Jazz....a little bit of everything(except rap)

If jo jo is well behaved, pets are welcome at Knoebel's. People have them there all the time (mostly smaller ones though)

Abby doesn't qualify as small so we've never taken her. Casey is smaller but her hip displaysia keeps us from walking her too far. (that and she's the barker of our two)

JoJo is a silver haired toy poodle. About 11 pounds (soaking wet) and 13 years old.

I am wavering about the trip now. We'll see.

It didn't hit me last time but our nephew's bday is 6/24. His mom's is 5/24.

I've not been on the boards much for the last couple of weeks. We've had some family health problems.

My DFIL was in the hospital to have gall bladder surgery...the morning he was to have the surgery they tried to wake him, he was unresponsive. He had had a stroke. They say he would not have survived if he had not been in the hospital when it happened. The doctors are still only giving him a 50% chance of survival.

They've kept him sedated since the stroke, and we will not no how much damage was done until he wakes. Right now they are weening him off of the sedation so we should no more in the next few days.

My DMIL is not totally able to take care of herself and he has been her primary caregiver for a while. So we have her at our home, and are going back and forth between here and the Hospital in Mississippi a lot.

Needless to say...it has been a tough couple of weeks, but we are getting by. We could definitely use your prayers and good vibes.

just thought I'd pop in and say hi. I plan on doing lawndry 2 times, once at wdw and then on the cruise. I am going to try not to over pack. I will have to try to be on more so I can chat with Tana now that we are riding to gether. Well gotta go DH drew me a nice hot bath. The boys are at church, it is so quiet here. Mum

I am thinking if I had it to do all over again (and Amy were not in my life), I would start looking first at church choir directors and future Sunday school Presidents!
