We have another softball game today. The girls lost yesterday, something like 36 to 10. But my DD pitched in a game for the first time! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc She didn't do too bad. She only walked 4. At least the other team was swinging by then. And of course a ball came whizzing right back at her and hit her hand. She was brave and didn't cry and stayed in to pitch!

Congrats to DD on pitching for the first time...how exciting and what a rush for her :goodvibes

Oww and here comes Brandi too! :wave2:

She isn't the most athletic child. Usually plays RF which is her favorite position. She also made a good play at 2nd in the game too. Big smiles for her yesterday! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Brandi - i just want to know the total time you spent baking to earn $60.
Becka - calculator please. Plus, if you are doing all that baking I imagine there are probably working moms who would be happy to pay you a decent amount for home baked desserts - not yard sale give away prices.

I always go to rummage sales and penny socials because they have the greatest tables of homemade baked goods - $4. a cake - less than you pay for a store brand cake. I just think you should get paid for your ingredients and your labor.

DD loves to go to yard sales and hunt up costume jewelry - we usually can find some fun pins and bead necklaces.
I probably spent about 6 hours of actual baking. It is hard to tell...with the kids and interuptions. I realize it isn't as good as my real job...but I am still happy that it was something.

gotta love the way sports make you fell, It's been a while since that time, but you feel so much part of a team and it boost your self esteem. I never played softball, just basketball and volleyball.

Hmmmmmmm.........rain is starting........softball at 1.........wondering.........

I guess we will be making our way to Meijer this morning.....I was hoping for no plans, just a lazy day around the house. I did turn the heat on just a moment ago, it's 66 inside the house and way to cold for me. Paul loves it this cold but he lost :teeth:

Gosh I really want some cereal. Problem is DH only brought home whole milk and me and the girls drink skim. They can drink any of it, but I CAN"T drink whole milk anymore. :crazy2:

My sister will add water to her milk if it's like that.... maybe give that a try :confused3 Is it the cereal that people crave or the milk? I get those cravings quite often and always wonder if I really want the cereal, or if it's my body's way of saying I need milk. I know, i'm a little crazy, huh :lmao:
