DisneyVegas1 -- Do tell, do tell! The newbie poster needs details!

And speaking of details -- a few hundred posts ago someone mentioned "should we tell her about the bananas?" What's up with that? Or do I really want to know??

NOBODY TELL HER. THERE ARE NO BANANAS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. I prefer dancing vegetables myself, but no pickles.

I actually want to do some on deck 4 and up on deck 10 as well, what better way to see more of the ship! I am interested in the walk a mile program, but don't know if I could keep up. How many times around deck 4 is a mile, 4 or 8 times?

I thought it was 1/3 of a mile around deck 4. I may have heard that wrong.

Been in the pool but man it's cold getting out. My mom bought us this remote control floating beverage cooler. I never thought we'd be that lazy, after all we do have two kids who can fetch but that thing is great!


DH got pumpkins from the Disney Garden in his store and guess what they came in....








a Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones huge box. Needless to say the store found some other bin for the pumpkins and we now have it in our living room. They also had stickers on all the pumpkins of the diff characters - cartoon representations...he took as many as he could.

I had to go to the dentist today. I had a root canal a year ago that has never felt "quite right". Well yesterday I ate some really hot oatmeal and the heat from it shot pain through the tooth so I knew I better have it checked out. The dentist wants me to call an endodontist and have the root canal redone.

What a bummer Dody! I was at the dentist Wednesday.. got my 2nd cavity filled, yuck. But not as bad as a redo root canal, you poor thing!

Those of you who have had to deal with I-95 between DC and Philly will appreciate this. My DSis left Alexandria, VA, at 3:30 this afternoon. By 6pm they had gotten as far as the tunnel in Baltimore. It's about 7:30 now and she's not here; if traffic stays clear, they'll get here (Philly suburbs) about 8:15. (For those who have not had the pleasure of this drive, in perfect conditions with a lead foot, you can make it in about 2:45 door to door.)

We're picking up Chinese too. We were out on the river all day today, just got home a bit ago and now I'm taking the boys out to buy birthday gifts for their friend's party tomorrow and picking up Chinese on the way home. dh just left for a church conference thing. He's had a rough couple of days -- he was at the Twins game Wednesday afternoon, a MN Wild (hockey) game last night, and after 2 meetings this morning spent the day on the boat. He might as well skip the cruise, he doesn't even need a vacation!

I forget who scored all the great stuff from their local Disney store, but way to go!! I need to get over to ours to see what they might have.

Kristina -- We are right up the road from Fredneck! I go to COSTCO all the time up there! We're in Glenelg....up Rte. 70 in western Howard County. Mini-meet?

Did you guys all meet up in Baltimore? Double drats.

I dug out our Christmas Mickey tropical shirts last night and they're not moth-eaten! It'll be nice to get another wearing or two out of them.

Has anyone else not made it to a Deck 4 lounge chair on past cruises? Somehow, I've managed to walk by them....always meant to sit down in one and relax.....never did. This time for sure!

Samantha and Haley are watching Scooby Doo Pirate Adventure - it's set on a cruise boat and is actually pretty decent. I still can't get over the fact Casey Casam is a voice on here!


and the POTC redhead line is my favorite of all time. For obvious reasons!

Don't forget about us midwesterners in OHIO. I keep looking at the meets and saying well maybe we could go. but then I check the map and say--no way. I guess my meet will occur in the terminal too

My drama queen sister bought her MNSSHP tickets today so I guess she is coming with us.

My commute home everyday is from the tunnel in Baltimore up I 95 to I 695. Today was especially awful. Something happened north of I 695 on I 95 because there were two helicopters hovering over I 95 near White Marsh.
