Charlotte - have you seen the new water area for Hershey to open next year?
Should be fun...they are turning that whole corner into water world. Our family loves the Water Soaker. BLAST!! but the lines are awful
That new water area looks amazing! But I can't believe you like the Roller Soaker. That is just a torture device... Rode it the only time when DD was 7. She got scared after the first hit of water, so I had to try to lean over and block her from getting blasted. So I got hit full blast in the face with the water-- and I couldn't see where I was so I couldn't drop my bucket efficiently.

Diana - I guess I didn't realize that you had 2 boys 7 & 11. Me too!! Actually 7 & 8, but same general group!
COOL! :thumbsup2
My DS7 is the youngest of the 12 kids in our group and will be the only one in that club - I'm glad there are so many here that we can get acquainted online before the cruise!
Maybe they can email a bit in November!

Brandi - I think we can take care of this...when we see her in the terminal we'll just start yelling "TANA!!! TANA!!!" and no more blending into the woodwork. I can see the looks on her family's faces now!
:rotfl:
and also say - come over here and get your pix taken by the big banana!!!

Actually - I want to do laps around the deck...anyone rather be outside than in the gym?
I'm up for that, too~~

POLL TIME!!!!

I'm so glad to see these posts...now I'm curious....

At what age did you leave your child alone for the first time??? This was a heated discussion last night during football practice.
I've been leaving DS11.5 home this week when he was sick.
I left him alone last spring for a few hours, too, when he was sick.

Does that earn me the WORST mommy award for deserting a sick child??? LOL

I plan to leave him and the youngest home for a few hours on Monday...with the neighbor for backup. I know that if they're both parked in front of the computer, they won't even come up for air until I'm back!! :surfweb:

I think DD12 was about 8? when I would leave her at home while I would run to the corner store. It wasn't until last year that I wouldn't worry about her if I wasn't home when she got off the bus, and the beginning of this year before I let her stay home to babysit. I kept telling myself that she was old enough to babysit for other kids, why not mine?!?! :teeth:
that's what I told myself about Monday - I let the 6th graders stay with the boys a couple of years ago, and know the oldest is a 6th grader!

It was probably about the time she realized that John1 has an actual real inflatable banana. She probably thought up until then that we were really just kidding....now she is afraid we might be serious. :rotfl:
:lmao: :rotfl2:

I'm realizing that I'd probably catch up faster if I stop responding to every post!!! :)

(and getting the 40 sec rule to boot!)

We were too tired. I actually asked him this morning why he didn't snuggle with me last night when I went to bed and he said he did or at least he thought he did. :confused3 I don't remember. I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and I think DH was the same way. No holding, snuggling, pricing or even watching TV.....
Hey Becka,
If you didn't want to kiss and tell,
you could've just said so!!
:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

But if you did that we would not get to 60k* before the cruise! :cool1:

* I had to up my estimates since the group appears to be growing.... ;)

It is almost time for me to go home. I have to pick up the kids and dinner is already cooked. I had to try one of those WW crockpot recipes. I hope it is good and not dry as a bone.

I hope to be in chat tonight if I can beat DH to it! :rotfl:

I also remembered to get the crockpot liners so clean up should be easy too! :thumbsup2

Nope , thats me just last DEC - as you can see no facial hair ...I only wear the facial hair when I am getting ready to become Captain Jack Sparrow ...So on the cruise you will see four sides of me ...First , Blonde with Facial hair - Second - Dark Facial Hair and as the Captain him self - 3rd Blonde hair with Dark Facial Hair as I may keep it dark for CC so I can get some pictures by the Flying Dutchman in costume . then 4th , the last night it will be just Blonde hair and no facial hair at all ...Babyface ...lol

Today is our anniversary - number 39. I sent flowers to DrHug at work yesterday. I'm not sure if we will go to dinner tonight or go down to the VFW hall and have potluck with the old guys....they meet on the first Friday and we have only attended a couple of meetings since DrHug joined a year or so ago. He did just get his "old soldier hat" and this will be his first opportunity to wear it. Um, let me see, nice dinner just the two of us, glass of wine, holding hands OR potluck with the old soldiers, some of whom might recognize me from work and realize I AM the complaint department for all the ills of the VA system and think it is ok to discuss all of this after the meeting. Such a hard decision! :lmao:
happy anniversary!!!!
