Speaking of guns and such, we had a patient threatening to bring a gun into our pharmacy and Director's Office if he did not get his pain meds hand delivered to his house today. He left 10 voicemail messages on my phone and called several others around the hospital. One of the calls he talked about suicide also, which gave us a reason to call the Portland police and ask them to do a welfare check, just to make sure he was not serious about that. Hard to know who is serious with those threats and who is not and on a day like today, following two other shootings at schools in the past week you just worry. Our VA Police were, of course, alerted and also had a chat with him. There was only one voice message left after the Portland police went out and that was just to let us know "the police can't do anything if I'm not suicidal."

Okay, so Brenda and Kristen and I are coordinating our transport to the airport from WDW. Looks like we might be getting a Hummerzine and we have room for more!! Any interest?? It would be abut $30-$40 per person, depending on how many more bodies....

Am I EVER going to catch up?!!! I'm staying awake watching Celebrity Fit Club 2. I should have been reading vs,. watching that lame ol' Bachelor. That was time I will never get back! Heroes was good again though....

I love that Wonder kids lline of clothes from Kmart. The cottons are really nice. But I think they have cut back on producing it.

I guess it gives Sears stores in markets where they don't have a store but the shelves always seem really poorly stocked - I don't know if Sears will keep them open or not.

I also feel a bit played out on the birthday parties. We had a joint twin party at 3 and 4. Then last year I thought it would be easier to have a girl spa party and a boy snow tubing party - but it still turned itno a lot of work.

Now this year it is a whole new group of kids that we don't know from Kindergarten - a good excuse to get to know the families or an opportunity to take the year off? I have to book the skating rink if we plan to have one very soon.

And then there are all the old nursery school friends who we still get invitations from? just too much. I'm burned out. I'm hoping by next year - age 7 - they will want to just have a small friends activity like BAB etc.

We live like Angie - without a neighborhood - so we don't get TOT for Halloween. I make bags up to take to our parade in town and give them out there to the kids we know. But it has gotten expensive for candy and goodies - plus whatever you send into school. wow.

that is my project for this month - to get started on treat bags. and find a nice holiday picture for our cards. another big project.

the Disney Visa stroller rental are only covered at DL. and I think some of those promotions were ending with the Happiest celebration.

V - I also recently put in a bid on ebay and never got a response within the 48 hours - I just assumed that it means I didn't win it - since there is no way to complete the transaction without the seller.

If they offer you a second chance and you accept - she is committed. She probably doesn't bother answering those emails about making second sets because she knows she will just offer second chances.

most sellers now seem to want to have no personal contact.
