My little Stitch just found his Buzz lightyear spinning light-up toy, and he's trying to spin it in my face...

No spinning toys around here. DD12 once spun it right into her hair! When she was little of course. Ouch!!

Lisa, how did you learn this? I have trouble with the dark theater shots. I would like to take a class to better use my rebel but haven't made time yet. I do have a zoom lens but am not sure how or how much to adjust the shutter. Any tips?

Here is what I do . . .

I set the ASA ("Film" speed) to 1600, and use shutter priority with the shutter speed being 1/125. I am overall pleased with the results.

I had to try and spend some time with DH so I missed it. The board was so quiet all day until I took a break and then you guys fly through 100+ posts....

I really like the Precious Moments figurines but I only had one and refused to buy any more because if you have two it become a "collection" and then it gets hard to stop buying them. My one PM figure broke a few weeks ago when the shelf it was on collapsed so I have been thinking that I should get a new one with a little boy and a little girl to represent my DD and DS. DH does some checking and it turns out there are Disney PM figures! Be still my heart!!! Are these not the cutest things ever?

But this is the one that I think I have to have now!

And you showed these to me why?!?!?!?!?!?! I started a "collection" with 1st DD. The age ones. I think we only got to 9 or 10 though, so I am behind. But darn if these ones aren't too cute!!

DrHug had a great time playing his guitar and singing with DD and friends. They had a stage set up with mics and lights on her friend's property. I went and lay down in the car to snooze about 11:30, but he played for another hour after that. He has not been able to do that in awhile. I thought I would catch up before I went to bed and MY GOODNESS, an hour later I'm finally done!

Any video Angie? He sounds like such a "cool" dad!!

I bought a pirate flag based on your posts...a while back...for the fun of it! Just for the Dis-ness.

Well - let me tell you - I had NO IDEA just how happy my little boy would be at the sight of that flag. You really made my little son happy by your suggestion to get a pirate flag.

So - Thanks Captain!!! Now I just might have to buy you a drink. I haven't seen my little on this happy over such an innocent gift in sooo long....guess he wants to be a pirate when he grows up.

I want to get a new case for my new 80gb iPod (same size as old 60gb).

Those of you that have cases, what case do you have, do you like it, and why?

I bought one the other night, but when I got home, realized it was for the 30gb model, and I need to return it. Any suggestions before I try again?

John, i have a Macally brand one, it is pink, but comes in black as well. it has a belt clip and a flip over front. I saw one that has a stand built in on Apple, but the reviews are not good. Griffin is also coming out with the Vizor (sp) and it looks good, getting some in for the store.
