Well, he got married in 2003. (We were married in 1997.) I gave them a gift with a can of silly string wrapped up in it and a note basically saying that as much as I would love to get revenge, I was too classy to do that to his fiance. It turned out that he had told her that he was worried that I would do something because of what he did but didn't know if I knew about him or not.

While the revenge would have seemed sweet at the time, you definatley did him one, no one thousand times better! Just him thinking it "might" happen. I'm glad you showed him that you would never stoop so low, especially with how it made you feel at the time.

Elaine,
On that adventure to London, .....

I'd love to go back to visit. It'd be sooo cool!

I love London. I spent 8 weeks there on a sabbatical education time. My DW came over for two weeks. We saw several shows including the Phantom of the Opera. It is a great city.

We also went to Disneyland Paris while there. You haven't lived until you hear Mickey and Minnie speak in French.

you have to look for those orange stickers which are actually hard to spot amongst the red labels on everything.

always look at the end caps - that is where they hide the clearance items.

I could never make someone feel that terrible on purpose.

I am going to go and watch the end of Boston Legal. I love this show. I'll catch you guys in the AM! :wave2:

Patsy, you know I just can't seem to get rid of the kid's Disney PJs. I did make pillows out of DD's but didn't cut anything...just sewed up the hem, neck and sleeves. Since I picked up the panels from WM last week, I will be putting the PJ ones away. Maybe they would make a good quilt for her eventually?
Probably, I have worked with all kinds of stuff.

Egads I could rattle on about quits all day but these folks don't need to hear it. Email me through the link below. (I hope the moderator doesn't catch me)
Elaine,
FYI I have worked with the thinnest shirts imaginable in the past. I put a backing on all of them and they turn out great. So, no worries on the old ones. I can also patch up those little holes so those are all good too.

OK advertisings over for now.

Oh where is becka. I've hidden my craft deficiencies thus far. This is where I feel pitiful and cop to the fact that I staple and tape hems.

Calling it quits early too. Goodnight.

He's not anti Dis. He just doesn't "get it" like we do. Throw in all the dancing banana's, coconuts tours, attending the wedding of a stranger, and heaven knows what else and he may give me an intervention when we get home.

Don't forget dinner Patsy!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Never rely on the stickers to be correct. SCAN! SCAN! SCAN! :goodvibes

Elaine, sorry I did THINK "that is really cool" when I read your posts. Just didn't get around to posting at that time and then as you know this thread just moves on! This is very cool that he is coming there though.

I'm jealous.

I can't believe that no one cares that the Dalai Lama is coming!!!

Hello Dalai. come on, that's funny.
It's so nice to have you back where you belong!

Lisa - you are right - that annoys the hell (can I say that) out of me about those stickers. who has time to do all that scanning or walk a mile back into the store to score more sale items when you get surprised at the registers.
