you guys!! slow down some so I can catch up!

Lisa----I can't believe you had to go through that at your wedding ----what I CAN believe is the amazing selfless, kind, always thinking of others, classy person (and friend) that you are! :)

 Gosh, guys! Thanks!

you know Kim it wouldn't surprise me if Richard Gere did pop up for the day - I think he lives in NY. I never thought about all the celebrities coming to town too - I rarely go into town because Woodstock had no sidewalks and I hate taking the kids there. But I might have to make an exception and celebrity watch.

We can tell, Dalai,

You're still glowin', you're still crowin'

You're still goin' strong.

We feel the room swayin'

For the band's playin'

One of your old fav'rite songs from 'way back when, so

Love that movie!

I need to make a confession. I HATE buying cars. DH thinks my car is getting to scary and thinks it may be unreliable this winter. DH is usually the cheapskate of the month, but we have role reversal on cars. How many miles do you all think a car can have before it starts to be questionable?
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I sold my last car when it was 10 years old. The one before that was 15 years old. DH's car is 18 years old. Then again, we don't have winters like you do here. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

PS, I did treat myself to a brand spankin' new PT cruiser last year so I'm looking good right now. :smokin:

Lisa - what are they doing to Target. I love their merchandise - they are overall upgrading or downgrading?

I got Giona a beautiful Michael Graves designed chess set there - it's portable and magnetic and the pieces are really nice. I love their selection.
even the $1. stuff.

Elaine, I think that they are just reallocating space for products here....though why they are getting rid of all of the Magic Tree House & JBJs books is beyond me! They seem to do that every now & then. Maybe they need to get the updated edition?

you're looking swell Dalai!!!
Funny. I can't believe I missed that post - shows where I was focused I caught the Disney Store portion there. Evidently I'm clued into Disney but not Dali. Ooh I guess I need to work on my transendental self

Does your Target have groceries and a pharmacy yet?

Caroline - that was always my nightmare for 4 years of pre-school. In fact, when I broke my elbow and had it operated on, I slept through pick up one day too. I was mortified. I think everyone is entitled to one at least.

I KNOW this totally qualifies me for the bad mom of the year award. :sad2:
Oh Caroline - nope, noone can make you feel worse than you did or do nor should they - so we can only shower you with hugs and support.

Kim - hubby has been having a mid life crisis for the last 10 years or so - he just tries to keep in shape but feels like gravity and life are against him - LOL.
He is a little obsessive about it.

He does healthcare IT stuff for work which doesn't keep him very physically fit - lol - but twins help. ;)

We have a pharmacy but not the super target groceries like the Target on the way to WDW. I stop by that one every trip because I find it thrilling. A Starbucks as you head in and those wide aisles and cleanm uncluttering feeling and one stop shopping.

We have always had a pharmacy but not frozen foods.
Then it must not be that. Ours got a total refit last summer that included a new pharmacy, grocery store and limited perishables.

Nighty Night folks.

Ok, I guess it is time for my "bad mom" confession...

DD3 has preschool from 9 - 11:30 on T/W/Th. She was very excited today because they were going to paint. When I got home from dropping her off, DH got into a political discussion, which never go very well around here. :rotfl: I also chatted with my sister for a bit as I tried yet again to convince her to come with us on DCL instead of RCCL. :confused3
Anyhow, DH left for work around 10:30 so I jumped in here to catch up a bit. Tuesday is a busy day so I didn't want to get to far behind. :teeth: I figured I would play some online Sudako before jumping into DD's room, laundry, ballet shoes and the like. Well, then the phone rang. Didn't know who the number was. :confused3 It was DD's teacher. "Who is picking Dina up today?" :scared1: It was 11:45!!! I FORGOT MY BABY!!! I called Dh real quick to see if he could get there first, but he was short staffed today. I got there just befoe 12 to find Dina playinging away with puzzles. Now the one teacher I know very well and joked with her about the "third" child thing, but the other teacher I just met this year so I was very  .

I KNOW this totally qualifies me for the bad mom of the year award. :sad2:

Not bad mother, your multiple personalities just got confused.

I did get DD back into her room tonight. I found the screw to her bed in HER top drawer ( I knew I had put them somewhere safe!) and I finished half the border, so in she went. DD3 was happy to have her room back, then....."I want someone to sleep with meeeee!!!!!"

Mine is 9 years old. But it gets below 0 a lot here and we have huge snow fall, so he is worried about safety.

we put a lot of miles on our cars just driving locally. and the winters and salt really eat up the cars - our van is almost 6 years old and I think it is on its last legs. I feel like I will drive it into the ground during this Kindergarten year and then get a new one.
I want a truck.

You want a cool target? Go to Gaithersburg, MD!!! They have a two story store. The escalator has a thing for you to put your cart on to get it upstairs! :thumbsup2
